I don't get it. I played this game over 8 times, did almost every quest and never saw that before! I also could get 3 of eacht spirit as the maximum too! How did you get THAT much!?

@Sunflowerfetish For the spells, you need both the 8 spirits and the specific job. About the summons, you have to use Amigo Cards, you can get theese by linking your game with friends'.

I remember there being summons as I saw them in the manual (Amigos)

However I had noooo idea how to get them!

gotta get loads of spirits, sounded pretty impossible as the most I ever got was 4 gnome spirits.

I've had this game since the day it came out and I never really figured out the whole summon/amigo or whatever.  All I know is that I can heal, attack, and get stat ups with spells. LOL. Nothing else was ever needed.

When I played this game, I used my brother's game to create a file and delete it over A HUNDRED TIMES just to get these things. I had to go through the whole introduction to the story and then connect and do all the rest...

I'm sad to see you didn't include the Irwin summon in this game. Irwin is the Dark Summon in the game, and you cannot get it as a player. It can be used on you during the Julius fight by his first form once he is down to half life.

Like all the amigos, the Irwin summon is a direct reference to Legend of Mana and even has Shadols in it (striped spirits from the underworld).

If you haven't seen this summon, go back and o the fight again. He won't use it that often, but it is worth seeing.

To open the orbs, you have to speak to a guy in the frozen palace after you unfroze it. (Sorry, I don't remember the place's name... it's where there is snow, you can Profesor Booooooomb !!!! yourself there...)

once you kill dark lord, issabela and gormand have a fight that blows you all the way to the glass desert. a woman names selah finds you and after you finish talking to cibba, head south of ishe. you'll see a short man that looks kind of like cibba. despite his unfortunate apearence, he can blast you to any other previously visited armory. this can be much more efficient that walking. happy blasting =3 hehe

The Darkness Summon you cannot get in the game. After watching this, I was a little sad to see that it wasn't included since it is one of the better looking ones.

The Darkness Summon is Irwin from Legend of Mana, and while not being of the Seven Wisdoms, is still pretty big. Julius' first form (human form) will use this on you after he is below half life, but you have to wait for him and not kill him. Kind of hard to do since at that point the game is a push over.

I linked with a friend 100 times to get 100 Amigos. So we each created 100 new files. The creation of a new file takes 6 minutes.

You have to get Amigos. It's just a real pain to do and almost impossible if you don't have two cartridges. Basically, you have to link up a good 50 times or so.
