@saschamuecke i was using a pretty crappy computer at the time so it took much longer than a day. it took about 4 days to completly render.

this is terragen 0.9. there are plenty of programs that you can use to animate terragen 0.9

@dartboardpicture2 Yes, Terragen works for Mac, and the program used to animate the camera was CamPath 3.2.3

Nice video, but I must know - did you use Terragen 2 to make it? If not, how did you add vegetation?

its not real vegatation. its just a color shader. this is from terragen 1

making the terrain is easy. making the movie is very complicated but not hard.

the music is "broken" by seether. and as far as the animation goes. i was using terragen v0.9 i belive. i used a lot of tutorials to help me. i put this video up over a year ago and i havent made one since so there is a lot i dont remember

no. but this software is used in a lot of games. but you can not make a game just from terragen

its a nice video. the only thing is the sky; you probably noticed. maybe you could try a larger map and place some high mountains to cover the black part where the sky ends.

i really wish i could find a way to end that; isn't it a pain?
