My hair is african but its not the usual naps you find in african hair, they are tight curls. Herbal Essences work really well on my hair though, you should use the moisturizing ones. Stay away from the ones meants for oily hair is you have dry hair. Btw, amber, youve said that same comment on like, 8 different vids.

it is absolutely terrible for your hair!!! it strips all the natural oils from your hair (even the needed oils) so this causes your scalp to overproduce needed oil for your hair, this over time will cause you to have oilier hair than usual. herbal essence, garnea fructis, pantene pro-v, and Suave are the 4 worst shampoos to use in your hair!
instead use one that is pH balanced such as Loreal paris, Aussie, John Frieda, Neutrogena, Bedhead, Redken, BiolageMatrix, and Tresseme'.
My god, you seriouse? I mean when I used those products on my hair it dried it up and it felt horrible and rough after (((I do have african hair because i'm mix race, but I never knew that this could have been the other problem))) But with Dark and Lovely it made my hair feel soft and brush-able and I loved it, so this also goes to proove that I cant use normal products for hair that most white people use. I ave to have special stuff. But OMG I never knew that thanks for the info! Now i'm scared

well I'm of Irish - German decent and it works very good for my hair.
African ancestry people have very delicate, sensitive hair.

THIS IS TRUE.
most of the shampoos today contain sls, which cause your hair to turn white even earlier than all the old people. you MAY get it before you turn 18.
well, i'm not yet 18.
i used herbal essences- dangerously straight.
it caused my scalp a condition. now my hair's even oilier and it's hard to take care of.
SLS means sodium lauryl sulfate.
look it up on google, you'll see how dangerous this thing is to our whole body.
