@1D35sailor To be quite honest, the ground can be too hard to gallop, but it depends on the toughness of the horse's hooves. The horse I lease has difficulty in our limestone arena but when i take her indoors and ride in the indoor arena she's fine....

This is canter, not gallop.

Funny - in every language in the world (or most of them) gallop is gallop.

Just in english it's canter.

Guys, the ground wasn't as hard as it sounds here. You can hear how it really sounds when the horse approaches the camera. It's more like a splash. I guess it's the echo that made it sound that hard.

Yeah, I thought about it... normally it is hard ineed, but when the rain falls it transforms into quite soft and muddy substance. Besides, it's just sand with some bigger grains here and there. But thanks for showing care :) Cheers!
