@No1ZmeskalFan today ponor anounced that she is back at training for london 2012,she wants to make history for romania being back at 23 years old,no other romanian gymnast did that with succes and she wants to be the first to do that,i am happy for her decision.

that's Cristina Bontas' (92 olympics) son, Eric, he was playing with Cata.. runnin around and buggin her .. Catalina, believe it or not, is a kid magnet. She is adored by kids

Ponor is one of the most elegant gymnasts ever. Maybe the best ever on beam--Phillips could have given her a run for the money in the middle '80s. I don't think I've ever seen execute a triple twist or a turn as well as Cata.

Yes in 2005. Cata broke a connection and in her series and started with a 9.9 SV. If she started with 10, she would have won.
