@Charliearo1196 It's a matter of taste. To you plan on playing more low pitched, or high pitched. Green (Soprano) is going to be more high pitched, while red (alto) will be lower.

This is strictly for hohner 24 key models. When it comes to melodicas with a full set of key, I know nothing about them.

If your just starting out, Crystalcello makes a 13 key soprano melodica. You can buy them for ten dollars on ebay.
