They are more different than what people think, for one:

The clothes are 100x more expensive !!!

they listen to death metal mainly, im not saying emos don't or ALL goths do, just a majority, goths are allot darker clothed- were as emos will wear multicoloured clothes etc.

Goths are far more sinsister in my opinion, it's totally heavier clothing and music all round.

People call me goth and i take it as a compliment, but people call me emo and i don't because they're NOT the same AT ALL =]
