Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know. (Acts 2:22).Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him. (John 3:2).
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit....The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:14,18).
While Emmanuel means "God with Us" it does not mean "God".God did miracles through Jesus..And Paul and many many others.God became with us by putting his spirit into his servants. "Why do you call ME good? No one is good but GOD ALONE."You know... how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power; how he went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. (Acts 10:38).
@Anthony2OK Jesus is the living word of God. The word became flesh. John 1:14 So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of underserved kindness and truth. John 14:7 If you men had known me, YOU would have known my Father also I ask you what's different? The meaning is still the same from what you've read from your Bible without the ye.
@CamdenChristadelphia First off I would like say, I'm happy to have a conversation with you brother. But here's my understanding of what John 1:14 The word of God was through him. Jesus definitely spoke of himself as being an individual separate and distinct from the Father. John 8:54: "Jesus anwered [the Jews]: 'If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father that glorifies me, he who you say is your God."
@TheKingRichardPryor1 There is over 6 billion people on the earth today and most of those who call themselves christian believe that God and his son Jesus are the same being.
@CamdenChristadelphia I'm not a christian. But... I have knowledge of God's word. Which is the very first thing in becoming a true christian also repenting. Alot of people have a tendency of pretending to be a christian, completely ignoring the responsability that comes with it. Galatians 5:22-26 On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
@CamdenChristadelphia Moreover, those who belong to Christ Jesus impaled the flesh together with it's passions and desires. If we are living by spirit, let us go on walking orderly also by spirit. Those scriptures prove we are not perfect, but exercising faith in Jesus Christ(Effort) and asking God for his Holy Spirit in prayer through his Only-begotten Son Jesus Christ, we can make it in the book of life.
@CamdenChristadelphia The Hebrew Scriptures clearly identify God as the God that the Jews professed to worship. Jesus said, not that he himself was God but that God was his Father. Jesus here made it very clear that he and his Father were distinct individuals.Ps.110:1: The utterance of Jehovah to my [David's] Lord is: "Sit at my right hand until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet." At Matthew 22:41-45 Jesus explained that he himself was David's "Lord," referred to in this psalm.
@Anthony2OK For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is deceiving his own mind. But LET each one prove what his own work is, and then he will have cause for exultation in regard to himself alone, and not in comparison with the other person. For each one will carry his own load.
@Anthony2OK Heres another scripture account about Judging someone, which all of us should take into our hearts. Galatians 6:1-5 Brothers even though a man takes some false step before he is aware of it, YOU who have spirtiual qualifications try to readjust such a man in a spirit of mildness, as you each keep an eye on yourself for you also may be tempted. Go on carrying the burdens of one another and thus fulfill the law of the Christ.
@Anthony2OK Question...Where is the Trinity in the Bible? Please show us. Remember what the Bible said 2Tim 3:16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness. Another thing you do know you're Bible is a translation as well. John 14:1 it saids Do not let your hearts be troubled Exercise faith in God exercise faith also in me (Jesus Christ) again two people.
Genesis 1:26 And God went on to say: "Let us make man in Our image ( two people), according to our likeness, and let them have subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth. Notice this scripture Luke 23:34 Father, forgive them, for they not know what they are doing. If Jesus was God, there would be no point of Jesus calling out to him.
Proverbs 8:22-31 God himself produced me as the beginning of his way the earlist of his achievements of long ago. Verse 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. Verse 30 then I came to be BESIDE HIM as a master worker, and I came to be one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, verse 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth and the things I was fond of were with the son of men.
I agree with the video. John 14:28 You heard that I said to you I am going away and I am coming back to you. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. John 13:3 he knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he came forth from God and was going to God.
@TheKingisJESUS John 14-7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have SEEN HIM.
Without the Spirit no one will see heaven without obedience you will not be baptized in the Holy Spirit that will teach U all truth. Ask Jesus he will reveal himself to His Sheep. He tells me he is all three in one, I'm not impressed with You or anyone else with the Bible because Bible it requires a interpreter not like the Holy Spirit Truth
@TheKingisJESUS PS: One thing more ur user name says a lot. My king and Master is king of all kings and lord of all lords You have put richard pryor as your king and then quote of a few scriptures that was compiled by Constantine (sun god worshiper) and then he got KING James a known homosexual (buried between his 2 Lovers in a Cathedral in EU) to Authorize it! Im saying is do you trust man that messed it up.1 example it's ROPE not CAMEL through the eye! Get the Holy Ghost
@Anthony2OK Wrong this is not the King James Version. Another thing I used Richard Pryor as my name as the King of Comdey. Not the King of all kings Jesus Christ. Who are you to Judge me about the name I've chose? Question do you believe I'm going to hell because of a screen? Another question are you perfect? Romans 2:1 Therefore you are inexcuseable, O man, whoever you are, if you judge another, you condemn yourself, inasmuch as you that judge practice the same things.
John 20:27-29 Jesus took credit for others calling Him God
Then saith he to (doubting) Thomas, Reach hither thy finger and behold my hands, and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, my Lord and my GOD. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
There are many many more verses that show Jesus is God.
Matthew 9:2-4 And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven." And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming." Luke 5:20-21 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
Again, I am still waiting for this guy to discuss his spurious views but he has refused. He has admitted he is no scholar and cannot even understand basic Greek or Hebrew. Therefore he has little credibility. I strongly advise that you ignore his scripture-abuse and, rather than give him a platform - give him pity, as he obviously has an axe to grind and uses God's word shamefully to bback up his own bigotry.
@MrJayguess Instead of hurling abuse, can you add something positive to the discussion? Im not going to block you as I prefer other readers to make up their own mind as to who has credibilty ,based on the fruits of the spirit and not whether they know Greek or Hebrew.
You are obviously a well qualified man of the cloth but can you start showing some of the fruits of your education rather than negative accusation.
Forget this guy. I have offered to discuss his 'teaching' in the original languages but he has refused. It seems, therefore, that this guy has little credibility or authority except as a self-styled 'expert' with delusions of grandeur whose 'teaching' is bogus and wrong.
Jesus was, and is God in the flesh..Emmanuel means "God with us"..you should read YOUR Bible..and pray for understanding through the Holy Spirit..instead of following blindly the Doctrines of Man.
Because He(GOD) has appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man(Jesus) whom He has ordained; whereof He has given assurance unto all men, in that He has raised him from the dead. Acts.17:31
Jesus said, but now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of GOD. John.8:40
Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of GOD among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which GOD did by him in the midst of you. Acts.2:22
This is so off stop going on your on private interpretation and ask the Holy Ghost to reveal it to you.How do you know when the Holy Ghost has revile it to you?It it works in harmony with the whole bible
Last but not least. The OT nowhere says The Father will come and take on flesh. He said he would do nothing without telling the prophets first. To prove his might before all people.
Also if trinity was always believed why is it not in the apostles creed or in the Nicea ruling? Because they did not believe in it. The real christians faded away be aide they would not kill for there belief. It was the gnostics vs the oneness. The real deal paid no mid to them.
"Jesus IS God!" is one of the most foolish, false, deceptive, and demonic doctrines taught among many Christain religions. Scripture clearly ask us to believe and confess that Yahshua is the Messiah the son of the living Yahweh, not "Jesus IS God!".
This old bloke is a Christadelphian, a heretical group that cannot be described as Christian because of its disordered and heretical views of the truth of Christ.
They are irrelevant in so many ways, including numbers. In a world of some 7 billion people there are perhaps 50-60,000 Christadelphians, a number that indicates their failure as a religious movement.
Jesus Christ is the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity who died for our sins, rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven.
Heresy is not determined by opinion or by the view of man, because truth is not ultimately defined by men but by God. You reject the Holy Trinity - Fahter, Son and Holy Spirit - and for this reason you embrace a heresy.
Your private interpretation of Sacred Scripture, which has no authority in and of itself, is fatally flawed. Jesus Christ is God and the Son of God in the Holy Trinity.
In the 15th century herecy was determined by man ,to be precise, the Roman Catholic Church.
It was called the INQUISITION,where many thousands were maimed and killed because they believed Jesus was the SON of GOD.
Where is the interpretion you accuse Christadelphians of having in this verse:-
Joh 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? This is Jesus speaking.
@petruscephas So only a 1/3 of a being died for your sins? So only 1/3 of your sins are forgiven? Who really died for your sins? The wisdom and power of God. Not God.
@petruscephas Oh child of Satan! You're a MODALIST?????? Jesus is the POWER and the WISDOM of God incarnated NOT God Himself! You won't find ANY Scriptural evidence to back up Trinitarianism. You will to back up Arianism and Semi-Arianism though. I have two videos on this if you want to watch them. I sincerely love and respect those who love Jesus but I want them to know the RIGHT Jesus and Christ has revealed to me many things about how beautiful He is!
@petruscephas But the delusion is that Jesus is God. Jesus is not God. He is truly no ordinary man. He is truly 100% divine in every which way but not God Himself. I am so INFATUATED with Jesus that I'm not sure if it's possible for me to keep me my mouth closed about the Son of God any more and every time I think about how strong, mighty, and powerful He truly is, He reminds me the Father is greater! I cannot wait for heaven!
@petruscephas Isaac Newton, after tedious studies on the Trinity, concluded Arius was right and the Trinity was the abomination of desolation. Arius and Newton never denied the divinity of Christ though. God bless those Saints!
You are rather confused in your theology. The dogma of the Most Holy Trinity is not an expression of the heresy of Modalism, which allows no distinction in person between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Holy Trinity is one in being, three in person, which is certainly not Modalism.
Modalism is a heresy, as is Arianism and in fact Arius taught one of the most destructive heresies in the history of the Church. Also, Arius is most definitely not a saint. He died a heretic.
@petruscephas What are you talking about? Arius and his men were welcomed back. Constantine is a Saint in different churches and he was baptized as an Arian. How is Arius a heretic? He defended that Jesus was the Son of God. God, whom you say, is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, thus, Jesus is the Son of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Acts 7:55-56 - Jesus on God's right hand. Isaiah 42:1 - God is sending His servant. God can't be His own Father or send His own Son. Arius 50, Trinity 0.
Arius was never reconciled with the Church. The emperor ordered that his Bishop accept him back into communion but Arius died before this could be carried out, much to the relief of the Bishop who knew that Arius had not changed his views.
Arianism was condemned at the First Council of Nicaea in 325 and at the First Council of Constantinople in 381.
Read the documents of those councils or read the Nicene Creed which resulted from them.
@petruscephas I have heard about the results of both Councils. Most of the people were actually reluctant to sign the creed. Homoousianism was condemned as Gnosticism by the early church: source is wiki. There was heavy favor for Arianism until the second council of Nicaea in which the emperor favored Trinitarianism. What year did Jesus go from being the Son of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to being just the Son of the Father anyway???
@petruscephas man, what an arrogant, Judgemental statement. heritical to whom? the orthodox church? who cares? they have beena part of some of the worst sin, and pagan doctrines of all men. truth is truth. get over yourself . man
@petruscephas clearly, in noting the comments you've made all over this page, your the one lacking any knowledge or understanding. I leave you to your nonsensical, pagan., beliefs.
I'm sorry you don't understand the Gospel of Christ. I can only tell you that if you reject Jesus Christ as the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, you are not a Christian, regardless of what you may have allowed yourself to believe.
If you are a Christadelphian and desire to know Christ, you need to leave that heretical group that didn't come into existence until the 1800's.
This is the truth. Take it or leave it. All else is nothing but lies and nonsense.
@petruscephas there will be a high price to pay, i imagine, fro people saying"you must believe i the trinity or your not a christian". since, no one in the bible believed or spoke of or taught such a thing. only the most radical, arrogant people of the trinitarians even say such a thing, as they know, true or not, its not a salvation issue. JESUS never mentioned i needed to understand the trinity, a catholic doctrine formed later. so, ill go with him, not you, thanks
I have patiently tried to explain the truth of the Gospel of Christ to you but I am done.
If you choose to hold onto this old heresy that was corrected at two separate Ecumenical Councils and is completely denied by the Nicene Creed, you're free to continue to put your faith in a heretical lie.
Your misinterpretation of Sacred Scripture is a horrible basis for any attempt to understand the truth of Jesus Christ the Son of God and will not be rewarded.
Read back my comment about the Mediator because if u look deeper into what I am saying you will see that I am not trying to point out that God had already come in flesh. I am saying that God was and still is both the Mediator between Himself and man. As He was in the Old test. so He is the same in the New testanent. He is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore... But thank you for replying respectfully :-), God bless you n help us all to know Him better and better... in Jesus name- amen...
@Anthony2OK Does a president begat a president? "God" isn't a substance - it's a title. God's substance is spirit. That which is born of spirit is spirit. That's Biblical. and God can't be begat. He's eternal only His sons can be begotten.
@TruthAtlas "Does a president begat a president? "God" isn't a substance - it's a title."
Don't be silly a president is a man does man begat man. That would be like saying a monkey begat a banana, Mary had a seed where did it come from! <<--BINGO again!
@Anthony2OK That's the point God is a spirit (the president is a man, the Father is a spirit) and those who he begets are spirits. Saying God begets God is like saying president begets president. So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
OK so God put a spirit seed into Mary and she begat a spirit! NOPE I'm afraid not because the WORD became flesh Spirit seed transformed into (Jesus). Look read my other 3 post above it's all there. No more reply's to you!
The Word that was in the beginning,God, became flesh... Jesus is the "I AM" read back into the old test. u will find the Truth and who He really is. Rev. 1:8 is also interesting when u look into the Hebrew. When God calls HIMSELF "Alepha Vau Tau" if u understand the hebrew meaning of this, then answer if God is not Jesus, why would He call Himself such a title? It would be an error on God's part. God bless you :-)
@CamdenChristadelphia he is the son the second personof the trinity " give me back te glory i had before creation " " he counted it not robbery to be counted equal to the father " he forgave sin , and he was often worshiped --- need i go on ???
I dont know which version you are loosely quoting John 17V5 from but I would suggest you look a liitle more closely at what is being said compared to what you have written.
Joh 17:5 And now, Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.ASV
2 ways we can look at this.
1. Jesus once had Glory and it was taken off him and he wants it back again.
2. Gods has foreknowledge of a glorified Jesus overcoming sin.
@CamdenChristadelphia God has foreknowledge of all those who would be saints in the time to come and the glory that goes with it BUT that dosnt mean its happening now.
Jesus didnt exist before his BIRTH.
Abraham REJOICED to see my day and was GLAD ( John 8v56) is exactly what Im talking about.
Jesus didnt EXIST in Abraham's time and would decend from his loins in the future BUT his emotions at the time were REAL.
God is the same with foreknowing Jesus's victory over sin
@CamdenChristadelphia he is the son the second personof the trinity " give me back the glory i had before creation " " he counted it not robbery to be counted equal to the father " he forgave sin , and he was often worshiped --- need i go on ???
The reason y so many pple don't understand that Jesus is indeed Yahweh is becuz they don't understood the relationship between Israel n God in the Old Test. There's so much evidence in the Bible that proves Jesus is Yahweh. In the Old Test. when God made the promise to Abraham He needed NO mediator becuz He was the Mediator of the promise. He's both the Promise Maker n the Mediator -the representer of both parties - God n man.God reps Himself n man @ the same time. He's His own representatiive.
I respect the opinon in the video and I am by no means a Trinitarian myself, but I have 1 problem with the arguement. It is said in the vid that anyone to whom the Word of God comes is seen as a rep. of God and I'm not debating that, but the problem is that the Word of God did not simply COME TO Jesus making Him only a mere representative of God. But the Bible makes it clear that Jesus IS THE WORD OF GOD Himself. Jesus is not ONLY a representative of God on earth, but HE IS God on earth.
but when it reffers of Christ being God it is always in the capital G not the small g so Jesus is not only a represenitive of God he is God in the flesh. God was manifested in the flesh. represente's was not manifested in the flesh. and all power was not given to them nither was they able to forgive sin and nither was called the almighty 1st and last beb and the end the i AM Jesus was called God in the capital G and he never denied or rebuked them for saying so.read ur bible.
He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him how can somthing be made by someone and for someone only if it is God in self prophesy so Christ is creator
Matthew 3:16-17 And when Jesus had been baptized, just as he came up from the water, suddenly the heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.
Great video. You proved what the Quran was saying for the last 1400 years, God the merciful sent Muhammad to save humanity from the Trinity doctrine which leads only to Hell. What's stopping you from Islam brother? It is the same message of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him).
@helasmoh with all due respect Gal 1:8 tells us how we should view anything adding to taking away from the gosples. as we know the bible writings have been around long before the quran. Gal 1:8 "However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to YOU as good news something beyond what we declared to YOU as good news, let him be accursed. You see. EVEN if an ANGEL delcare good news beyond what is written, he is to be accursed. See my point? Satan is tricky
I have never ever understood the trinitarian doctrine and i find it absurb.
God is almighty all powerful all knowing all wise.
If he had intended to make himself known , he would.
Just like how Moses saw the burning bush , Abraham heard and saw the illuminance and how jesus himself knows god intimately.
God is direct , simple , at best. If he wants you to know , he WANTS YOU TO KNOW . There is no need for human or MEN'S judgement and biase ideologies when GOD is GOD. AMEN
@MDIS sun is:core ,ray and heat...but still the sun.Time is past present and future ..but still the time. You and i are soul, spirit and flesh but still you.God is the Father ,the Word and the Holy Spirit...but still God
I am left wondering if you even understand the doctrine of the trinity? You seem to refer to the doctrine of Sabellianism (modalism) yet call it Trinitarianism.
If you do understand the doctrine of the trinity maybe you can answer this:
In what way do trinitarians believe that Jesus is God?
Christians who are Trinitarians who have ( Trinity Theological ideologies ) are absurb. Every Church except for those Oneness Congregations , believe in the Trinity doctrine. Jesus is God. Go around and ask . Its dead simple.
Calling something you don't understand "absurd" just shows your lack of openness and unwillingness to understand.
Oneness Christians believe Jesus is God; the Father. Groups such as JW and Christadelphians believe that God is completely separate from God. Trinitarians believe the are three persons in God, namely the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, they are not three Gods, but one.
@MDIS I think the easiest way to say it is like this: Jesus being the son of God, is a god but not THE God. Jesus prays to His Father and glorifies His father, if he was god, he would be glorifing himself, talking to himself, foresake himself to show loyalty to himself. Jesus came down to earth as a ransom, and give us a model on how to like, and we should try to follow that as closely as possible.
@shihtzufizzers there is only one God,no other gods..in Isaiah it is Clear.
To be a son means "to come from ".I am the son of my father ,which means i come from my father,we are the same gender, attribute, the same genes.Jesus comes from God ,He has the same attribute as God.
@teriiura So you agree, Jesus comes from God as his son. Gods first born and created. I do agree he has the same attributes as God, for he was with him in Heaven for so long. You are right one God. but jesus has been called a god. Jesus is not THE God. No where in the bible does it tell us to worship the son over the father. for even our model prayer, Jesus tells us to let YOUR name be santified, showing he is praying to his father, not himself. No I think we agree on this, dont you?
@shihtzufizzers i agree He is the son of God and the First born. But not created.
In the bible there are two word in Greek for firstborn "protokos"and protokiste".
Protokiste means first born as a son ,like your first child.Protokos used for Jesus means the origin.Exodus 4:22 God says that Israel is His first born...means origin.
@MDIS I think that you are correct to a degree - Jesus is God. But Jesus is not the Father. Jesus prayed to the Father so we know that there's "another" God. But Jesus literally describes himself and the Father as One.
Matthew 20:18-20 also tells us of the third person, the Holy Ghost. Its mention comes after the first two persons in the Godhead.
As to imagining what the trinity is like...I have so far come to this conclusion.
@MDIS Baptism gives us the grace of new birth in God the Father, through his Son, in the Holy Spirit. For those who bear God's Spirit are led to the Word, that is, to the Son, and the Son presents them to the Father, and the Father confers incorruptibility on them. And it is impossible to see God's Son without the Spirit, and no one can approach the Father without the Son, for the knowledge of the Father is the Son, and the knowledge of God's Son is obtained through the Holy Spirit
@MDIS Your comment has made me dwell for quite a long time on the trinity. The doctrine is perfect. You do not understand in the same way that you might not understand partial differential equations. We do not have equally weighted opinions. Yours is simply wrong.
Its funny how revelation seems so mysterious until you understand, realise its obvious, and beautiful!
I guess I sound incredibly arrogant, but I will admit, its hard to accept/understand as its not of human nature
I agree - JESUS is the "family of GOD'' = his Son - JESUS could not raise himself from the dead or he would not have been really dead - FATHER GOD could only do that for him - plain as can be
@CamdenChristadelphia-- In order for atonement to occur Jesus had to sacrifice HIS LIFE--- Why all the generations before christ did`t need salvation is still a mystery. They went to heaven without it. Why did we need it !!
@lizazoon Jesus was promised in the garden of eden as a means of atonement for their sin. An animal was sacrificed and coats of skins provided by God see gen 3v21
They tried to hide their sin by covering themselves, firstly with fig leaves v 7 and then they hid bodily v8. Point is God provides the covering for sin.
Baptism into christ is described as a covering for sin.
Since creation man looked forward to the atonement on the anticipation the sinless messiah would give his life.
@CamdenChristadelphia In effect the animal sacrifice was a token of the sacrifice that would come. They like us have only one way of recieving forgiveness or the ATONEMENT and that is thru the DEATH of CHRIST.
Whether you looked forward to the sacrifice of the messiah or like us you look back it dosnt matter, The covering of Christ thru baptism is the only way to be forgiven for sins see romans ch 6
I might argue the last sentence... Matthew 17 speaks of Moses and Elijah speaking to Jesus on a mountain top. We know that Elijah was taken by God, I would agrue that both Moses and Elijah were in heaven and now are in heaven with Christ. Elijah and Moses will most likely be the two prophets that return in Revelations. Please also note the Enoch was also taken into heaven.
I am curious which denomination or Church you belong to as I agree with a lot of what you say.
You seem to jump to the conclusion that when Moses and Elijah speak with Jesus that they are in heaven and come down to speak with him BUT the scripture doesnt say that.
"Saints" were temporarily resurrected when Jesus rose from the dead matt 27 52,53.
The saints werent in heaven but rather described as sleeping.
The reward of the saints is on the earth.See promises to Abraham.
First, there is no spirit world. Scripture says that Elijah was taken up into the sky. Jesus hadn't died yet so there were no saints that had risen yet. The promise to Abraham was land and that out of him would come a great nation. Note that Jesus also says that some will still live until his return, but where are they? They are in heaven which translates to sky and will one day return to earth when it has been made anew when Gods presence will remain with man. Rev 21 city from the sky...
@teriiura If you like I can send you something breaking down how Jesus is not
God but the son of God using John 1:1. It goes back to the greek writings when first written. using this, one can see who Jesus is in relation to God. It explains why the Greeks wrote it in this way. Word as Jesus is called, is a reflection of God, Just like a child can act like a parent, or reflect their traits, well, Jesus does this w/ his father. He spent AEONS w/ him in heaven. Jesus reflect his Father
@shihtzufizzers John 1:1 the word is God and the word became flesh.Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus is the same yesturday today and forever(deity attribute). If you want to break it down what is simple, then you are making difficult what is easy.
@shihtzufizzers i know ,because i am a koine greek scholar.Jesus is the reflection of God...as the ray is the reflection of the sun.But the rays still is the sun and part of the sun.Time is past present and future. The father is the source of God,Jesus is the reflection of God ,the Holy Spirit is effect of God.
i couldnt agree more....but he IS the allmighty sacrafice who no man who ever lived is equal to him ...he IS the son of God at the right hand of our father TODAY! His father knows he was faithful to death ...when people say he is God it cheapens his sonship he was faithful to the FATHER until death for mankind..His fathers will...He is the way to God...that is accpetable... no need for wars anymore if everyone would listen! Good video
Camden, nice try. If Jesus' would-be stoners were "gods" because the word of God came to them, what then is Jesus (the very Word that the Father sent into the world)? John's prologue tells us: the World is both God and with God. How so? Jesus can say both "I and the Father are one" and "the Father is in me and I am in the Father." Your explanations don't cover all the facts. You're selective in what you include and what you exclude. John 1 is the key for unlocking the rest of the gospel.
Yes, very challenging texts, frequently quoted in the Arian controversy. Thank you for bringing them up. John 14:28 should be read in light of Christ's (temporary) humbling of himself (Phil 2) coupled with the equality with God implied in John 1:1. As for Luke 18:19, Jesus was deflecting the remark of someone trying to butter him up. When the ruler is told to sell all and follow, he ducked out quick. No clash with John 1.(BTW: Have you sold all? If not, why not? The meaning's clear.)
If the "sell all" message applies to everyone then indeed Christ meant he was not "good" in a literal sense. You can not have your cake and eat it too AK. Reading John 14:18 in light of Phil. 2 would be taking it out of context. You have no debate there either. Please stop jumping around scripture. You only dow hat you accuse others of doing...
I really don't think it applies (in the strictest sense) to everyone, halfie. Only using someone's logic against him, as you attempt to do here. Since Scripture interprets Scripture, I feel quite free to link John 14 and Philippians 2, since they clearly illuminate one another. Your cleverness needs a tune-up. Perhaps an oil-change too.
Yet you ask Cmaden if he has "sold all" as if you have done so yourself. Implying that the scripture applies to everyone one. The old "I have, why haven't you". I'm not trying to be clever. I'm trying to share some truth with you to help you see you do not know everything you think you know.

@TheKingRichardPryor1 Im interested in your comment quoted from John 1 So the "Word became flesh and resided among us"
What exactly do you understand that description to mean?
CamdenChristadelphia 2 weeks ago
@CamdenChristadelphia First off I would like say, I'm happy to have a conversation with you brother. But here's my understanding of what John 1:14 The word of God was through him. Jesus definitely spoke of himself as being an individual separate and distinct from the Father. John 8:54: "Jesus anwered [the Jews]: 'If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father that glorifies me, he who you say is your God."

TheKingRichardPryor1 1 week ago
@CamdenChristadelphia Moreover, those who belong to Christ Jesus impaled the flesh together with it's passions and desires. If we are living by spirit, let us go on walking orderly also by spirit. Those scriptures prove we are not perfect, but exercising faith in Jesus Christ(Effort) and asking God for his Holy Spirit in prayer through his Only-begotten Son Jesus Christ, we can make it in the book of life.
TheKingRichardPryor1 1 week ago
@CamdenChristadelphia The Hebrew Scriptures clearly identify God as the God that the Jews professed to worship. Jesus said, not that he himself was God but that God was his Father. Jesus here made it very clear that he and his Father were distinct individuals.Ps.110:1: The utterance of Jehovah to my [David's] Lord is: "Sit at my right hand until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet." At Matthew 22:41-45 Jesus explained that he himself was David's "Lord," referred to in this psalm.
TheKingRichardPryor1 2 weeks ago
@CamdenChristadelphia So Jesus is not God but is the one to whom God's words were here directed. That's my understanding.

Jesus Christ is the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity who died for our sins, rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven.
petruscephas 7 months ago
@petruscephas
Petruscephas its only herecy if you dont agree with it.
The statement in the title of the video is Jesus's own true words.
Is this now regarded as HERECY?
In the worlds eyes we are irrelevant just as Israel was when God says:-
Deu 7:7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
When has the majority of humans ever been right in Gods eyes,NEVER!!
Jesus is the SON of GOD !
CamdenChristadelphia 7 months ago
@CamdenChristadelphia
"I and my Father are one."
"Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father."
petruscephas 7 months ago 3
@petruscephas
Interpretaion?????

I'm not sure where you got that notion but no, it is wrong.
The Father is God. The Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God. Yet there are not three Gods but one.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God and God the Son is completely and utterly God. He is not 1/3 of anything.
His death opened the gates of Heaven and made it possible for all sins to be forgiven.

@petruscephas Oh child of Satan! You're a MODALIST?????? Jesus is the POWER and the WISDOM of God incarnated NOT God Himself! You won't find ANY Scriptural evidence to back up Trinitarianism. I sincerely love and respect those who love Jesus but I want them to know the RIGHT Jesus and Christ has revealed to me many things about how beautiful He is!
Danielezerable 6 months ago
@petruscephas But the delusion is that Jesus is God. Jesus is not God. He is truly no ordinary man. He is truly 100% divine in every which way but not God Himself. @petruscephas Isaac Newton, after tedious studies on the Trinity, concluded Arius was right and the Trinity was the abomination of desolation. Arius and Newton never denied the divinity of Christ though. God bless those Saints!
Danielezerable 6 months ago
@Danielezerable
He died a heretic.
petruscephas 6 months ago
@petruscephas What are you talking about? Arius and his men were welcomed back. Constantine is a Saint in different churches and he was baptized as an Arian. How is Arius a heretic? He defended that Jesus was the Son of God. God, whom you say, is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, thus, Jesus is the Son of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Acts 7:55-56 - Jesus on God's right hand. Isaiah 42:1 - God is sending His servant. God can't be His own Father or send His own Son. Arius 50, Trinity 0.
Danielezerable 6 months ago
Danielezerable
Arius was never reconciled with the Church. The emperor ordered that his Bishop accept him back into communion but Arius died before this could be carried out, much to the relief of the Bishop who knew that Arius had not changed his views.
Arianism was condemned at the First Council of Nicaea in 325 and at the First Council of Constantinople in 381.
Read the documents of those councils or read the Nicene Creed which resulted from them.
The Church is unshakeably Trinitarian.
petruscephas 6 months ago
@petruscephas I have heard about the results of both Councils. Most of the people were actually reluctant to sign the creed. Homoousianism was condemned as Gnosticism by the early church: source is wiki. There was heavy favor for Arianism until the second council of Nicaea in which the emperor favored Trinitarianism. What year did Jesus go from being the Son of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to being just the Son of the Father anyway???

How can someone MEDIATE between themself. That is a nonsense.
The trouble is that these perposterous statements are what makes up the trinity and people actually believe it.
God presented Jesus as BABY and called him HIS SON.
He chose Mary to carry the baby and many witnessed the BIRTH.
Was God creating a massive deception here?

@Anthony2OK That's the point God is a spirit (the president is a man, the Father is a spirit) and those who he begets are spirits. Saying God begets God is like saying president begets president. So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

CamdenChristadelphia 1 year ago
@CamdenChristadelphia God has foreknowledge of all those who would be saints in the time to come and the glory that goes with it BUT that dosnt mean its happening now.

Jesus didnt EXIST in Abraham's time and would decend from his loins in the future BUT his emotions at the time were REAL.

What is the source of this outlandish statement?
"need I go on?" Yes go on and explain how Jesus could give up HIS LIFE and being DEAD resurrect himself.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him how can somthing be made by someone and for someone only if it is God in self prophesy so Christ is creator

Jesus never denied to be GOD and he didnt denie to be the Son of God.

They exist separately at the same time:
Matthew 3:16-17 And when Jesus had been baptized, just as he came up from the water, suddenly the heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.

Great video. You proved what the Quran was saying for the last 1400 years, God the merciful sent Muhammad to save humanity from the Trinity doctrine which leads only to Hell. What's stopping you from Islam brother? It is the same message of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him).
helasmoh 1 year ago

AMEN
MDIS 1 year ago
@MDIS I like your thinking , not because I agree with it but because you have put it so simply.
I often laugh when a trinitarian tries to describe how Jesus is immortal yet died and raised himself from the dead......Please.

In what way do trinitarians believe that Jesus is God?
lchiddle 1 year ago
@lchiddle
Christians who are Trinitarians who have ( Trinity Theological ideologies ) are absurb. Every Church except for those Oneness Congregations , believe in the Trinity doctrine. Jesus is God. Go around and ask . Its dead simple.
MDIS 1 year ago
@MDIS
Calling something you don't understand "absurd" just shows your lack of openness and unwillingness to understand.
Oneness Christians believe Jesus is God; the Father. Groups such as JW and Christadelphians believe that God is completely separate from God. Trinitarians believe the are three persons in God, namely the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, they are not three Gods, but one.
lchiddle 1 year ago
@MDIS I think the easiest way to say it is like this: Jesus being the son of God, is a god but not THE God. Jesus prays to His Father and glorifies His father, if he was god, he would be glorifing himself, talking to himself, foresake himself to show loyalty to himself. Jesus came down to earth as a ransom, and give us a model on how to like, and we should try to follow that as closely as possible.
shihtzufizzers 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers there is only one God,no other gods..in Isaiah it is Clear.
To be a son means "to come from ".I am the son of my father ,which means i come from my father,we are the same gender, attribute, the same genes.Jesus comes from God ,He has the same attribute as God.
teriiura 1 year ago
@teriiura So you agree, Jesus comes from God as his son. Gods first born and created. I do agree he has the same attributes as God, for he was with him in Heaven for so long. You are right one God. but jesus has been called a god. Jesus is not THE God. No where in the bible does it tell us to worship the son over the father. for even our model prayer, Jesus tells us to let YOUR name be santified, showing he is praying to his father, not himself. No I think we agree on this, dont you?
shihtzufizzers 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers i agree He is the son of God and the First born. But not created.
In the bible there are two word in Greek for firstborn "protokos"and protokiste".
Protokiste means first born as a son ,like your first child.Protokos used for Jesus means the origin.Exodus 4:22 God says that Israel is His first born...means origin.
teriiura 1 year ago
@MDIS I think that you are correct to a degree - Jesus is God. But Jesus is not the Father. Jesus prayed to the Father so we know that there's "another" God. But Jesus literally describes himself and the Father as One.
Matthew 20:18-20 also tells us of the third person, the Holy Ghost. Its mention comes after the first two persons in the Godhead.
As to imagining what the trinity is like...I have so far come to this conclusion.
squashpianoman 1 year ago
@MDIS Baptism gives us the grace of new birth in God the Father, through his Son, in the Holy Spirit. For those who bear God's Spirit are led to the Word, that is, to the Son, and the Son presents them to the Father, and the Father confers incorruptibility on them. And it is impossible to see God's Son without the Spirit, and no one can approach the Father without the Son, for the knowledge of the Father is the Son, and the knowledge of God's Son is obtained through the Holy Spirit
squashpianoman 1 year ago
@MDIS Your comment has made me dwell for quite a long time on the trinity. The doctrine is perfect. You do not understand in the same way that you might not understand partial differential equations. We do not have equally weighted opinions. Yours is simply wrong.
Its funny how revelation seems so mysterious until you understand, realise its obvious, and beautiful!
I guess I sound incredibly arrogant, but I will admit, its hard to accept/understand as its not of human nature

I agree - JESUS is the "family of GOD'' = his Son - JESUS could not raise himself from the dead or he would not have been really dead - FATHER GOD could only do that for him - plain as can be
mustangersalie 1 year ago
@mustangersalie
Why is it that you can see this so clearly yet millions cant.
In order for atonement to occur Jesus had to sacrifice HIS LIFE.
Plainly, he had to give up HIS LIFE, not some bodily shell or some other lesser part of him, no he gave up HIS LIFE for sins to be forgiven.
Trinitarians cant agree with this because if he died then he was MORTAL.
If he was MORTAL then he was NOT GOD.
So trintarians deny the very foundation of the atonement that Jesus gave his LIFE
CamdenChristadelphia 1 year ago 3
@CamdenChristadelphia-- In order for atonement to occur Jesus had to sacrifice HIS LIFE--- Why all the generations before christ did`t need salvation is still a mystery. They went to heaven without it. Why did we need it !!
lizazoon 1 year ago
@lizazoon Jesus was promised in the garden of eden as a means of atonement for their sin. An animal was sacrificed and coats of skins provided by God see gen 3v21
They tried to hide their sin by covering themselves, firstly with fig leaves v 7 and then they hid bodily v8. Point is God provides the covering for sin.
Baptism into christ is described as a covering for sin.
Since creation man looked forward to the atonement on the anticipation the sinless messiah would give his life.
CamdenChristadelphia 1 year ago
@CamdenChristadelphia In effect the animal sacrifice was a token of the sacrifice that would come. They like us have only one way of recieving forgiveness or the ATONEMENT and that is thru the DEATH of CHRIST.
Whether you looked forward to the sacrifice of the messiah or like us you look back it dosnt matter, The covering of Christ thru baptism is the only way to be forgiven for sins see romans ch 6
No one has gone to heaven but Jesus.

@CamdenChristadelphia Man you look younger then me, but I gave up all this nonsense long ago. Get real. have a drink.

DoubtingFaithcom 1 year ago
@DoubtingFaithcom I am a Christadelphian.
CamdenChristadelphia 1 year ago
First, there is no spirit world. Scripture says that Elijah was taken up into the sky. Jesus hadn't died yet so there were no saints that had risen yet. The promise to Abraham was land and that out of him would come a great nation. Note that Jesus also says that some will still live until his return, but where are they? They are in heaven which translates to sky and will one day return to earth when it has been made anew when Gods presence will remain with man. Rev 21 city from the sky...

@CamdenChristadelphia John 1:1 says that the word was God ...and the word became flesh."
The Father ,the Word and the Holy Spirit has the essence of God.
Isaiah gave the prophecy of God coming on earth ....
My friend ...you are out of your mind and fly into a very low level of understanding.
teriiura 1 year ago
@teriiura If you like I can send you something breaking down how Jesus is not
God but the son of God using John 1:1. It goes back to the greek writings when first written. using this, one can see who Jesus is in relation to God. It explains why the Greeks wrote it in this way. Word as Jesus is called, is a reflection of God, Just like a child can act like a parent, or reflect their traits, well, Jesus does this w/ his father. He spent AEONS w/ him in heaven. Jesus reflect his Father
shihtzufizzers 1 year ago
@shihtzufizzers John 1:1 the word is God and the word became flesh.Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus is the same yesturday today and forever(deity attribute). If you want to break it down what is simple, then you are making difficult what is easy.
teriiura 1 year ago

AKhomiakov 2 years ago
Why didnt you include in your argument the fact that Jesus said MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I or Dont call me good ,there is none good but GOD.
Have another look at your previous comment and ask yourself whether you are covering all the facts.
CamdenChristadelphia 1 year ago
Yes, very challenging texts, frequently quoted in the Arian controversy. Thank you for bringing them up. John 14:28 should be read in light of Christ's (temporary) humbling of himself (Phil 2) coupled with the equality with God implied in John 1:1. As for Luke 18:19, Jesus was deflecting the remark of someone trying to butter him up. When the ruler is told to sell all and follow, he ducked out quick. No clash with John 1.(BTW: Have you sold all? If not, why not? The meaning's clear.)
AKhomiakov 1 year ago
If the "sell all" message applies to everyone then indeed Christ meant he was not "good" in a literal sense. You can not have your cake and eat it too AK. Reading John 14:18 in light of Phil. 2 would be taking it out of context. You have no debate there either. Please stop jumping around scripture. You only dow hat you accuse others of doing...
halfie25 1 year ago
I really don't think it applies (in the strictest sense) to everyone, halfie. Only using someone's logic against him, as you attempt to do here. Since Scripture interprets Scripture, I feel quite free to link John 14 and Philippians 2, since they clearly illuminate one another. Your cleverness needs a tune-up. Perhaps an oil-change too.
AKhomiakov 1 year ago
Yet you ask Cmaden if he has "sold all" as if you have done so yourself. Implying that the scripture applies to everyone one. The old "I have, why haven't you". I'm not trying to be clever. I'm trying to share some truth with you to help you see you do not know everything you think you know.
