Reason "quality" is all based on how well you engineer your patches. If you get a crappy sound library, its going to sound bad.
There's a huge myth about Reason sound quality being bad. Really all it is is that the gain is intentionally kept a few db lower on output. This is to allow more headroom for the 20 or so devices it typically takes to make a track.
So its a volume issue, not a sound quality issue. Just turn up your amp and magically the "sound quality" will improve.
Sound really good lead stuff etc. good kick but the extra kick under the melody don't sound that good as well, just put them at the end of 8.
