ola victorh2007 vi em alguns sites que as pessoas gostam mais do avast 4.8 do que a verção 6. gostaria que voce ficese um teste com o avast 4.8 home Edition eo avast 4.8 Professional Edition, o Professional pode ser emcontrado no proprio site do avast

@catellok, já estou com testes agendados com a última versão do Avast Free Antivirus 6.0 e também do Avast Internet Security 6.0. Depois disto vou analisar a possibilidade de vir a testar a antiga versão 4.8. Muito obrigado pelo seu comentário e interesse!

This is very good free AV,it has great virus database.

Avast free and Nod 32 are the most popular here in Serbia,probably 70 % of population are using those two AV-s.

It did let that rootkit and two registry keys left,but those results are very good bacause all malware links are zero day.Thank you Victorh for another great test,keep going ;)

Low memory usage combined with excellent web filter and a very good antivirus detection are some of the main characteristics of this great antivirus. Avast did very well on this test and it could be even better if had a more powerful behavior guard. But anyway it was excellent and that is an excellent choice for free antivirus. The web shield is amazing in my opinion.Ive done several tests and it was very effective.

its a shame i cant use this alongside comodo which im currently using.

Great Review! Avast did a good job for a free antivirus. i love how light it is also. if it could improve behavior guard as you said it would be extremely powerful. i consider avast one of the best free antiviruses. pair this up with threatfire and you got yourself a free,light and effective combo. thanks a lot!

Great Review Victor, Avast Free did a good job but it's really unfortunate that a rootkit infected the pc. As you stated the ram was low, excellent web filter, and an overall good antivirus. However, the behaviour guard needs to be improved since that rootkit actually modified the system settings and as a result avast did nothing to prevent this. Hopefully their next version will be more superior because it has potential of becoming an excellent av solution. Thank you my friend!

No fórum do Avast!, tem muitas reclamações devido a problemas de incompatibilidade com algums aplicativos como editores de imagens, mas já lançaram uma nova versão Beta do Avast! 5.1

@MrAntimalware, eu fiz este teste nos últimos dias com a versão oficial última disponível até então a, 664, quando ontem tomei conhecimento do lançamento da 889. Independente disto, eu me surpreendi positivamente com o ótimo desempenho do Avast. Espero que as próximas versões corrijam os problemas de incompatibilidades relatados por você!
