I'm dp322515 I was unable to access that account but the magazine is a lawyer magazine that is nation wide everything in it has to do with the laws against drunk driving the cover has the picture of the bus still on the road and a picture of Mahoney as well I wish I could think of the name of the magazine I may have to dig the copy I have and post it I'm not sure where anyone would be able to find this particular issue I hate how this accident has become so covered up this changed so many peop
My dad was a police officer and one of the first people on the seen of the crash. He decided to work overtime that night and can say he took part in successfully saving 3 of those kids lives from the horrific burns they recieved from the flames engulfing the bus prior to the accident if u want to know more a magazine wrote a great article about it with pictures that will turn your stomach.
I found this story while doing research for a paper. I wasn't even born yet when this happened, but it's awful and makes me sick. If I was Larry, I'd never be able to live with myself, knowing that I had caused all those people to die, and in such a horrific manner too. He should have gotten life in prison for what he did! I hate drunk drivers. Something similar actually happened in my hometown, two teenagers were hit by a drunk driver and their car burst into flames and they died. :(
i was attending radcliff middle school that year, also, i was in the 6th grade. i have a god friend die in this crash. i will never forget this day! i now have 3 kids, the youngest, was born in may 14, 2005. what are the chances of that happening! his due date was may 16th 2005.
This is so sad one of My coworker,s lost a daughter due to a drunk driver she was celebreateing her 29 birthday when she was killed she was on the back of a motorcycle when the 23 old drunk driver killed her & her friend it happend in grovecity Ohio back in sept of 2000 right now the man who killed them both is severing 2 life terms in prison in chillicothe Ohio the drunk driver hit them both from behind when they were @ a stop sign she was paralzed from the neck down what crime ashame
That is why I believe in one and done. You drink and drive once you should NEVER get another license to drive again. I'm sick of being chastised because I smoke cigarettes and nothing is done to combat these idiots who continue to kill innocent people with their stupid drinking and driving. Yes I'm biased because I also have been personally affected by a drunk driver.
This was tragic. I can't imagine how horrible it must have been for parents with children that were stuck in that mess let alone parents who lost children who were on that bus. When you think about it, though, what are the odds that a drunk driver in a crossover accident or any accident would hit the fuel tank of a bus just the right way to cause such a massive explosion. I hate it when idiots go out drinking and then get behind the wheel.
i was going too north harden that year wasa very sad day and week .had reporters all up and down the front of the school.never will forget them that are gone now
My mom and dad went to North Hardin High, & knew alot of the people who died, and who lived. My dad was supposed to be on the bus, but he couldn't go. Thank god.
I remember that day well. I lost good friend and classmate Crystal Uhey, her sister was also injured, and my cousin Sandy. Much love to all the families involved in this disaster.
I was at King's Island with friends this day. I remember seeing this group at various rides. I remember waking up on that following Sunday and seeing this story on CNN Headline News. Couldn't believe it.
I was six yrs old when this accident occurred, i remember hearing about it i forget if i was watching the news or my parents told me. i remember i had a singing competition that weekend and i told my mom i was dedicating my song to the victims of that crash. the song was "Somewhere out there" from and American tale.
I do remember this sad day i attended Radcliff Middle School in 1988 i was a 7th grader tha year it was the 87-88 school year to be exact i even attended that church sometimes with a friend who went there, i had several friends who died in that crash, we had a moment of silence, that morning i didn't even hear about till that morning, i remember i asked my mom if i could go on that trip with them, but my mom wouldn't let me go, god bless those people who died on that day and their families.
My friend was killed by a drunk driver..I know what it feels like to lose someone like that. It's a pain you NEVER get over.. because, people keep getting killed over drinking and driving.. RIP Anne and Carrolton Victims

My dad was on that bus. He has scars all over his body. No one can ask him about it because he will break down. It's terrible.
