  • Hey @flystud how hard of a time did you have actually getting the test, I want to do this so bad and I can probably even afford it, but I assume they won't test just anyone right?

I'm not sure if I should even fill the form out with my 0 laps of racing experience

  • @rhbcweatherdude You would have to ask those questions to Chris Lafferty. Just google him.

  • hey. can you tell me how you got to do that? did u just e mail the guy and say "hey give me a chance?"

  • I think yall are doing something great to help racers. yes it is very hard racing at my age i am 17 years old been racing sence i was ten i am working two jobs to help pay for my racecar. i got a sportsmen and thats all i can afford to race. i have been racing sence i was ten i use to run ministocks know got a sportsmen its expensive racing at a local level. driver development programs gives drivers the chance to show what they got. but y charge to test drive a car.

  • I would like to wish all the drivers who have worked with us in the past and future the best of luck and hope that you are able to reach your highest goals and dreams.

  • Well I do have to say that all of the cars Ive seen Lafferty Motorsports run do good just to finish the race, never can they keep up, and personally, anyone that waste money in your little "driver developement" is better off going somewhere else like Pistone, someone that actually knows what they are doing and not believing in ripping people off, its a shame you find stupid people to sign up for your stupid stuff.

  • Thats funny because the people who are important in NASCAR seem to think we are doing a pretty good job at helping up and coming drivers. let me guess, your somerich kid who's daddy pays for everything. real racers earn what they got . this is an expensive sport. Hmm ripping people off? your an idiot, who knows nothing about us. We helped guys like Dillon Oliver to make his first NASCAR Truck series race, he only finished 30th but spent less than 2k to make that happen.

  • Awesome would like to meet u guys n test with u guy. Great job keep helping the develepment drivers!!!

  • I can tell that the driver as well as the past one i guess is what he was have no idea about how racing works Neither have any business to even repersent a team You sure wont attract any good sponsors except for crap like septic tank cleaners acting that way. Imiage is everything it attracts the sponsors If your goning to race with adults then try to act like1 What ive seen neither of you impress me at all you are just more in the way then in the race.

  • This team has no business being on the racetrack in a CWTS race. They are consistently in the way, down on power, and cannot make a race without being over a second off the pace. As a race fan, I go to races to see competitve racing not this garbage, If you can't afford to buy enough tires to race competitively all weekend, do not show up you are ripping us fans off. If your engine is 50-100 horespower short, do not show up you are not prepared to race.

  • LOL dude that is harsh.

  • well i do guess that you are entitled to your opinion but rememmber that people like Dale Sr. as well as Richard Childress both struggled early in their carreers, we have taken pride in trying to help those drivers who do not have big money sponsors but do have a dream. Is there any thing that you wish you could have done? What have you done in your life that stands out?

  • atleast you can spell it. did criss help you? btw who the hell is criss?

  • i didnt need a driving school to atleast get noticed. i was talking to Furniture Row Racing about maybe running an ARCA car for them but they signed Regan Smith who wanted a lot of money(well, baised on his ability and team funding it was a lot) and that pretty much stoped all talks. really, i was blessed to have made it that far.

  • turning left requires no talent, ok beat my time in a craftsman truck 16:50 @ hick.

  • lol,..i can't stop laughing,... you did not turn a 16:50, you wish. how am i a fraud , you came to race for us in a street stock race left the car in second gear, blew up my engine, then said that it was my fault because i wasn't there to see it.

dude, just man up and quit talkin shit because i never came after you for the cost of the blown engine,... sounds like i'm a pretty stand up guy and you on the otherhand are not reasonable at all.

leave it at this,.. you are not cut out for us!

  • left it in 2nd? blew an engine?, who do you think I am? you (Chris) drove right after i did and the truck was fine.

  • When you drove the black street stock, don't be stupid you have to remember that. you left it in 2nd gear blew the engine then blamed me for not being there, your such a bum.

  • dude, check your facts, then talk smack.

  • im not willing to pay $1500 for this.

  • Chris has no drive or talent. no idea how to set up a truck. and you (bapaille) can not spell.

  • put the stop watch on yourself and you will see who has no drive or talent.

Anytime you want , i will take a truck to hickory and put my money where my mouth is, i'm sure i can out run you every lap and I will prove it. if you got the balls to come to the rack with me, hell i'll even pay for it,.... your just a big mouth that it !!!

  • I can out drive you any day of the week, what i am not going to do is fly way over there ($980 r/t) just to prove you wrong.

  • its easy to talk when you don't have the balls to prove it. Your a flight attendant and can get stand by flights for nothing. So now whats your excuse. Your all talk thats it, and when you can't talk no more you will blame someone for your shortcomings. Man up and put your money where your mouth is or just shut the hell up!!!

  • you have me confused with someone else, your a no talent hack. I have moved on to rally racing which requires you to turn left and right , land jumps, etc...

  • Lafferty will never race full time, i believe he is a fraud and a liar.

  • why are they going so slow and why is the front end of the truck 925 feet off the ground?

  • it doesnt matter what it is hes testing at least hes behind the wheel if i was givin the chance i would drive my ass off.because 1500 is a small price to pay for the chance to maybe do something great. like the song says do it right now.

  • this isn't even a NASCAR truck...... it's an arca truck

  • You're wrong. I'm an ARCA truck owner and can tell you for fact this is not an ARCA truck. I can also tell you that the driver in this video (if it's who I'm pretty sure it is) WAS a driver in the ARCA truck series AND his ARCA Truck used to arrive at the track IN A NCTS HAULER. It doesn't surprise me at all to see him behind the wheel of a Craftsman truck. ARCA trucks are S10/Ranger/Dakota and V6 powered...the chassis won't even support a V8.

  • its an arca.......

  • Hello? I OWN AN ARCA TRUCK...it has 4 lug 13" wheels BY RULE. This truck clearly has 5 lugs and Goodyears. We only run Hoosier and Goodyear does not make a tire that fits our trucks. They were 4 cylinder, now six....they will not support a V8. At :49 in the video a roof flap rod is clearly present. ARCA trucks do not have roof flaps. The 89 ARCA truck is a DODGE and resides in Michigan. It's not an ASA Truck either....it's an old Craftsman truck....get over it.

  • then show me ur arca truck and ill beleve u

  • The #89 is definitely a NASCAR Truck. If you want 24jeffgordan88JRfan,I have photos of both a Chevrolet ARCA Truck and a Chevrolet NASCAR Truck, both taken at Kentucky Speedway, and we can let you see the difference for yourself. I think YOU have no idea what you are talking about.

  • i am also beging to think i have no idea wut im talking about... but i still want to see the pics

  • o wow man. gratz bigtime! plz keep me posted.

  • Congrats man

  • i will be testing in sept. any advise?

  • Lafferty MAKES you run 19.5's over and over again in his truck. You aren't allowed to go faster or they pull you off the track. This guy was doing exactly as he was instructed to do. Hence the slow speeds.

They have 1 test truck and if someone wrecks it, the $1500 it costs to run this test won't cover it. Give this guy a break, he was doing as instructed.

  • Horse shit. Why in the blue hell would you be told to run 19.5 in a truck and pay for it? I'm sure this ass clown got an ARCA ride cause somebody saw him run 19.5 in 3 rate equipment!!! Give me a break. Oh and Laugherty I got your email I will respond directly.

  • Being part of a driver involves following instructions.

  • nethir one of u have no idea wut ur talking about

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG!!!!!?

  • Van Halen-Right Now

  • good luck in ARCA man thats a sweet gig

  • i hate you I HATE YOU!! ...lol..u have my dream job thats not fair! Good luck my friend!

  • Hi, I build truck engines for a few teams and was an R&D engineer for Roush when we won the BGN championships.I've raced up at Hickory a few times and tested there. You better stand on the gas kid or your going nowhere.( video looked like caution laps). You need to run in the 13 second range there to be doing anything. Good luck. Kurt Huntington

  • yeah, really. i live here in mooresville and work for a team myself. this kid is not fast. thats all there is to it. some guys have it, some don't. he don't ;)

  • My friend drives for Lafferty Motorsports, good luck in racing!

  • hickory :(

  • Whats your name? I watch the ARCA series alot so I'm gonna watch out for you come 2008. I wish you good luck on a full time ride wherever you decide to go.

  • Thank you so much for your well wishes! It really means alot1

  • k first off, dont bullshit people, or yourself, that truck is an ARCA Truck, you can tell by the fiberglass body. I do wish you good luck in your racing future but dont try to BS people.

  • Hello Redneck, first off thank you for the well wishes. Next, please go to jayski dot com, click on the truck series entry list. You will see that the 89 is listed in on the entry list. Oh one last thing, you can indeed tell by the fiberglass body. The ploblem is YOU can't tell that is a sheet metal from the video. But thanks again for your expertise and well wishes. God Bless You.

  • humm, well the NASCAR craftsman truck Series runs with a Splitter on the front and small gurny lips on the top corners of the spoiler. I do see a Craftsman Truck Series Logo. This does not look like an up to date truck, is this an old body, maybe a testing olny truck?

  • This truck is for practice but I was told that it has seen races when he fields 2 trucks in one race, the 89 and the 189.

  • wt song is this

  • whats up man how did yuh do. I was speaking with chris the other day about testing with him. I tested with FITZ racing the other day with David Stremme

  • awesome dude

  • wow howd you get a chance to do this?

  • Hell yeah, hes good too. Look at those record breaking laps! wow!

  • I wish I could have been there to chear you oon

  • Good Luck man I hope you make it into cup one day
