I think it is so cool that no one thought University of Florida was not good at volleyball until this year. They were the least expected to do well this season in my opinion, starting out ranked at #16
And Penn State just won their 4th Consecutive National Title even after a few loses like this during the regular season. The dynasty continues! WE ARE PENN STATE!
@MrUndergroundHH Coming into this year, Penn State was ranked #1 but fell to #7 at the end after a few losses. They went on to become the #4 seed in the tournament with #s 1, 2, and 3 all falling off early. They had a good schedule, not to mention they played their regionals at home and continue to have one of the longest home game winning streaks. As the highest seed left, it was nothing but domination til the end. Texas wasn't even that good as they were swept like Cal!
Finally west coast volleyball is rising again. Penn had their lil run but its over now lol. But still big ups to them for being undefeated two years in a row... Hawaii, Stanford, Cal berkeley, and USC IMO are making the final four...
@m3chopper haha, yeah. i saw they had taken the ESPN (or whatever TV station came, i can't remember) cameras away after the Florida Gators played the Texas Longhorns right before this match (guess it was only the home team that mattered). This would've been a great match to televise though!
