  • Somebody get this guy some fucking paper!

  • @GrapeDrink4Life Exactly!

  • you can derive them...happens all the time if you study physics

  • This is a good scene because it contradicts what he tells the girl later about he can "just play." People like this have an exceptional ability to develop skills, but they still have to actually develop them. They don't acquire them fully formed.

  • @EGarrett01 You can't learn formulas that other people have invented without studying them, that's extremely obvious.

  • @Anriel2 Lol yes you can! That's the same logic as well if that one person hadn't invented the wheel we'd all be driving around on squares. He just found the best/easiest solution to every answer and if that was already someones' formula so be it.

In one scene he actually took someone's formula and made it more stream lined.

  • @Noraa666 Do you even know what math is? Those formulas in the scene are impossible to know unless you study them..

  • @Anriel2 Then how does one invent it by your logic if you have to study it first? Fail

  • @Noraa666 But they were invented over a long course of time... You're dumb, so shut up.

  • @Noraa666 Listen retard, a wheel has a practical use, but how you think you can figure out a symbolic-numerical value by logic reasoning? Just cause you have a high verbal IQ you can´t "logically" deduct the fonetics of hieroglyphs by contemplating the the geometric shapes. Do you think a "genious" can comprehend E = mc² without knowing what e, c, and m stand for? How can you seriously be this dumb? To much Hollywood?

  • @urbanurban12 I accept your apology all you had to say was I'm a troll and I'm sorry. Also your penis is way bigger then mine. But hey life goes on right?

  • Where was this scene located in the film?

  • @LaMilby its a deleted scene, look at the video title.

  • @Jasonphone96

Obviously. My question is: where was this originally supposed to be in the film before they deleted it? *sigh*

  • @LaMilby He was doing the math of the original problem before he went into the school and wrote it on the chalkboard. It's in the extended DVD version. The original problem being the first one he solved before he was 'discovered'
