i have X3 Reunion and it's just an unfinished game. it's basically just a market simulation with a few dogfights thrown in to make it look like a legit game.
hopefully this one is better, but i don't intend to spend the money to find out. i feel ripped off after buying the last one.

Have you even patched it?
The default game is riddled with bugs, but 2.0/2.5 has almost nothing that hasn't been purposely left in (like regenerating shields faster when not in combat for people with capital ships)

the game lost me when i saw how many missing textures there were in some of the scenes. i'm talking talking about the coreographed stuff - there's really no excuse for that.
then there was the interface, which i thought was horrible. it took forever to figure out how to do simple things like set up automatic mining runs.
