yup!!! its 15000 RPM. i.e. it can count 250 pulses in 1 sec. since it has 8 bit counter. so the max rps is 250 rps...that means 250*60=15000 RPM!!!! revolutions per min. that is the maximum limit.
So, 15000 is the no. of revolutions per minute.
