I wonder what the guy that first thought this sport up was thinking. Hmmm, I've got this 14 foot boat and a jet inboard motor and a roll cage...i wonder how fast i can go. oh and then I'll turn and I will get someone to ride with me and wave his hand in front of my face to tell me which way to go. yeah that sounds like fun.

it was invented in new zealand and it started as guys using the boats they had and racing in rivers. there was not courses until it came to america.

Probably because we don't have the stunning rivers they do.
