  • 5-80000 depending on year and how competitive you want to be

  • how deep is the water?

  • about 2 to2.5 feet

  • I wonder what the guy that first thought this sport up was thinking. Hmmm, I've got this 14 foot boat and a jet inboard motor and a roll cage...i wonder how fast i can go. oh and then I'll turn and I will get someone to ride with me and wave his hand in front of my face to tell me which way to go. yeah that sounds like fun.

  • LMAO ..thats freakin funny. The things are a complete blast to watch. Wish the sprint racing was bigger up here in Canada.

  • Well hell yeah! What else would one do with that kind of stuff?

  • it was invented in new zealand and it started as guys using the boats they had and racing in rivers. there was not courses until it came to america.

  • @MrSbc327 Kiwis developed jet boats and river racing. Aussies created sprint racing. ;)

Probably because we don't have the stunning rivers they do.
