Crossbows in combat: Only good for stealth kills or zipline launching. Bolts must be cyanide tipped to be effective for instant 1 hit one kill. Leaves a different sound signature compared to suppressed rifles, so enemies trained to hear suppressed shots will take longer to realize they are under attack. Many military around the world still use them, but only limited to Spec Ops soldiers.
Conclusion: Good for specialized roles for certain missions. Performs poorly for personal defence.
Before Mr "I need to kill people " comes back , nice bow , looks like it would be a lot less stressful on the lower back for my older customers that still like to hunt . Also , nice reinvention of the old chinese repeating crossbow cocking mechanism . I'll be looking you guys up asap . Good work :)
Calm down there tough guy . Does a bow really neen to be a mankilling combat proven weapon to be a viable hunting toool ? The guy is shooting an animal target , not a squad of terrorists . I run an archery shop , and in all my time here , not one single person has asked me for a crossbow for defense, combat or antipersonel use . I have had several hundred requests for crossbows for hunting though , you know , deer , boar . But if you have to be able to kill humans , maybe you need to relocate ?
A crossbow in a battle / life and death situation ? Really ? Are you serious ? Has a deer recently come at you with an AK screaming "gimme your wallet ? "
Do the words, "Raving idiot" ring a bell with you? Until you've been in a combat situation that meant a literal life or death situation, for you that is, keep your !@#$%^* hands away from the keyboard.
Ideal for basic preppers hunting and basic secuirity in areas where guns are not allowed.

The only way he could possibly achieve 370 fps is by wearing his tactical jumpsuite. It gives him 30+ hit points!

I am a medieval crossbow maker, and I find this Twinbow II to be very interesting. Maybe I'll buy one and try it out! It looks really neat.

Ok, looks good, but how would it handle in a battle/life and death situation?
Nothing was really proven here.

@raspell6870 I guess the only time a crossbow would have an advantage is if you are hunting, or possibly when you dont want to be noticed.
A crossbow doesnt look to have much use as a personal defence weapon.
