  • Great interpretation and performance!

  • this is so good! it's cool to see that someone is still playing a guitar and not just jackin off. Thanks for uploading this!

  • Thank you Corey for being who you are and being so generous. I love your music.

  • WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW HOW HAVE I NOT HEARD OF THIS GUY WOW WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW WOW. WOW.

  • Incredible. Really amazingly beautiful tone (in all registers).... also, you can hear the influence of Kora in his guitar playing. Quite astonishing, beautiful blues.

  • … Keith who?

  • I've just came from Rawa Blues Festival In poland seeing him live. When we were listening my friend just sat on the flor and started crying. In his music you can feel the sadness, joy and everything... true blues... hypnotizing as a voodoo...

  • @tudorcare Okay, I was wrong. I looked closer. It is EAEgae, which is DGDfgd, like you say, but moved down a step.

  • @tudorcarare He's an artist. Just because he was playing in DGDfgd when he made his instructional video doesn't mean he's bound to play it that way 4 the rest of his life. Listen 2 the notes that are heard when U can see that he is playing an open string. Tune 2 DGDfgd and try playing along. Then try my suggestion. What's important to me is that it's a great setup for a nice long improvisational jam. So great to hear music that is not way too loud and full of ridiculous posturing. Thanks 2 Corey

  • głos, muzyka, styl to wszystko daje tak niesamowite połączenie że żałuje że dopiero teraz odkryłem tego Artystę...

  • Listening to the notes, and watching where his fingers are when he plays the notes, I would venture to say that he has the G and D strings raised one whole step each, but otherwise it's standard tuning.

  • @salvadorePix I have a dvd from Corey Harris and he says that he is using DGDfgd.

  • I saw him at New Orleans Crescent City Blues fest last year on my birthday. It was a free festival. It is so amazing.

  • he went to bates

  • Bullshit boys, Skip played this is open G. This is far far far away from the original. Great music, though

  • Bullshit boys, Skip played this is open G.

  • Its Amazing !!! I confirm it is EAEGAE tuning ...

  • What I find cool about Corey Harris is that, like Taj, he plays lots of other styles besides blues. Amazing musician.

  • yeah!

  • tuning?

  • @surrealIdeal EAEGAE i just found it :)

  • @surrealIdeal open d - skip called it cross tuning

  • So much skill. I cannot fathom the gratuitous amount of jealousy I have for him right now.

  • One of the best blues songs I ever did heard, spirit of Skip James still lives. Corey Harris is one heck of a blues player.

  • Really guys...I would meet tht one tht dislike and have a quiet long conversation...

  • wow, this was fantastic.

  • stupendo!

  • not to be crass, but I just sprayed my shorts!

  • Man, you can really hear the African influence on Corey's playing. Reminds me of how it would be played on a Kora, the gourd instrument from Mali.

  • This is why i think about ti buy a guitar

  • i-love-it

  • This gets better every time I watch it.
