Fedor was dominant in Pride in a time, for my money, was a superior heavyweight division over UFC. He beat up a whos who of the division. How is he overrated? Because Dana White says so? That asshole will say what is best for his company, not necessarily what is true. Fedor was dominant in Pride in a time, for my money, was a superior heavyweight division over UFC. He beat up a whos who of the division. I'm not going to say Sylvia of Arlovski are the same fighters that they were, but Fedor did dismantle them both in under 4 minutes total.

Seeing how there isnt alot of good heavywieghts in the ufc i would have to agree. However if dana jets Cung le in the heavyweight division it might be interesting. Plus frank mir is now in much better shape and looks awesome. Brock to is improving and he is a true heavyweight. Fedors last few fights have been with washed up fighters that couldnt cut it in the UFC anymore. Fedor might be scared to lose in front of a big crowd.

Gotta say, Fedor's proven his the best, atleast at heavyweight. He's beaten the best hwts in the world. There's only two fighters in the UFC who's credentials would raise Fedor's bar higher. Randy and Mir. He just beat two former UFC champs in a row that Dana touted as the greatest Hwts around when they were there. marketing wise, the UFC dominates this market. If you ask anyone who is the big dog, they will tell you it's the UFC hands down.
You don't get to that kind of stature by 'sucking'. Though I will admit, that Dana and the UFC need to start paying their top card fighters a bit higher of a purse. Although I never want to see an UFC fighter get what a boxer gets as that much money seems to change the fighter.
