In the final scene of the episode concerning Mexico'86, showing Maradona and his team celebrating the victory, there was a certain strange melody. Can you tell me what was that?

Listening to this tune brings back many memories!! Maradona's hand of god, France knocking out Brazil, Linekars Hattrick vs Poland, Denmark with Michael Laudrap and who can forget Maradona's pass to send Burruchaga racing clear to put Argentina 3-2 up in the final vs West Germany!!

Aztec Gold ? Pure gold, definitely the best ever World Cup theme from British TV.

I was really chuffed ITV-Sport carried on using it after Mexico 1986.

The name of the Track is 'AZTEC GOLD'. There is a second version that has been uploaded by someone under the name Aztec Gold. Personally I prefer that version but I am biassed. :)
