  • That's a really cool thing to do

  • jea! rock climbing is cool i do it for 2 years now and i never go to stop :)

  • 2:14 is that nigahiga??

  • Very good. You look strong. Now GO OUTSIDE!

  • You are very strong. I am just getting into bouldering/rock climbing myself but I seem to have a lot of difficulty progressing because I get fatigued in my forearm or my fingers stiffen up. Any advice? Should I go to the gym and lift dumb bells to condition my body?

  • @blkxtangledxhrt Don't forget to take breaks while you are rock climbing... if you get tired, just sit and wait for a few minutes, get a drink of water :) And at least sometime during your rock climbing time, do some stretches on your arms and fingers and legs, once before, once in the middle, and one at the very end, but don't do it too much to where you are hurting and it's straining. This should help you not to have stiff fingers and you will be more pumped!

  • @AME402972 Thank you for the helpful advise! I will definitely do more stretching in between climbs. I am one hundred percent beginner to this sport. I have been a member to my local rock climbing gym for about three weeks now. Climbers at the gym are nice and don't mind if I ask for help. I am taking baby steps. Lets see how far I progress!

  • @blkxtangledxhrt How long have you been bouldering/rock climbing (top roping I'm guessing) for? :)

  • Go outside! Lol

-from your friendly neighborhood rei employee.

  • This is badass !!

  • I just thought... climbing for two months and you already had your own shoes? Wow! You must've known you'd be good at it!

  • Cool i lead climb

  • who is this peter guy? ;D is he your boyfriend natalie? :3

  • When bouldering is it advisable to perhaps get some fingerless gloves to save at least your palms getting worn down, or does this impede your grip?

  • @awfullyfabulous You can do that, but you will lose much of your grip. Its better to just use some sportstape

  • You can come boulder any time at Metro - Or Lincoln Woods/Rumney/Hammond Pond!

  • 3:08 Beautiful Technique, If only his endurance was better

  • What do you climb , like V1,V2v3 etccc

  • this looks fun!! lol haha:)

  • i have this theory that strippers would make good climbers.

  • Nice job. It sometimes frustrates me how light, flexible girls move on walls. Very jealous. I have to say the falling on your back thing is right though. If you make it to the top and deliberately jump down onto your feet - then sure, but if you fall accidentally (most of the time at least for most people) it's a good idea to practice landing safely where you're not going to twist anything. Keep up the good work.

  • Thats a bad ass gym!!

  • she looks like my aunty's daughter!

  • Think you'r crazy ;-) but also funny good comédian!!!!when do we see the bikinny climbing videos??!!!

So today what level do you do on boulders???do you know more about safety!!

    ok seee ya.....

  • where is this climbing gym it looks awesome?

  • @danbe1000 Couldn't agree more man. This video gives all climbing a bad name.

  • Comment removed

  • you sound so black

  • I like the asian one :)

  • Hey girly, that's good technique for only two months in. Good job and awesome video!

  • She seems short until she is stretched out climbing. She is super hero Asian Elastica :-) :-) :-)

  • your body, so bangin!

  • Poor peter's peter. Her hands are so tough she need skin softener to be applied by the liter.

  • excellent and funny boulder class!

  • whys that guys shirt not on

  • @tinkan93 the better you think you are at climbing the less you wear. i now only climb in my trusty climbing thong.

  • The "V" in VB V1 V2 etc is a Roman numeral for 5 as in fifth class.

  • pretty good after only a couple months, i assume you've progressed quite well since!

  • wow what a nice video ! haha

  • i like to doggy fuck her,,,n cum her face all over,,,,

  • @arsenalspytube how gentleman of you...

  • @bender82801 thank u my frd...n also like to finger her...after the doggy fuck

  • 3:32 is the sound from the YouTube channel HowTheWorldWorks

  • my sport is: ice skate and swin

  • I tried bouldering and I was so sore afterwards.. loved it though! The only bad part is no girls want to join with me ): .

Btw did you take classes or you just grabbed anything lol :3 .

  • Isn't that in riverside? Treshold or somethin like that?

  • you are a really good climber for only 2 months. what other sports do you do? you look like you do some other sport or workout.

  • that gym looks sick:( i wish ours had one that sick:(

  • im not for certain but i think those two girls are the same people

  • nice =D

  • v16

  • Nice! I climb in Ithaca Ny in the US at the Cornell University rock climbing wall. I love bouldering! The hardest thing i have ever done was maybye treversing upsidedown for like five feet. Anyway nice video!

  • I also boulder here in Belgium, really nicely explained! btw really cool movie!! :D

  • Houstonj123, the bouldering routes are called problems.

  • you keep saying route on a boulder its called a problem it goes from v0- to v15 or some people say v16 and your falling completly wrong your sopposed to land on your back with hands and feet up in the air on higher problems you shouldnt really be hurting your ankles at all

  • @houstonj123 haha dumb, why dont you go out and try that out and tell me how that goes.

  • @ndtitanlady that's not dumb- it's actually the way its supposed to be done. it really depends though- if your prepared to fall, you're not that high up, and the pad is directly under you its okay to land on your feet. but if you're throwing for a big move then you don't want to land awkwardly (which could cause you to possibly roll your ankle), so you shouldn't land on your feet. you obviously new at this- you should really look up the facts before you call someone else's comment dumb.

  • @jxsrouji

    Agreed.

  • @jxsrouji yeah you should always try and land directly on your spine. if you cant tell that was sarcasm...and just incase you struggle to understand my point, and to be honest any person who thinks landing on their back is a good idea would probably struggle to understand most things, you are an absolute fucking idiot. do not tell people how do things if you have no idea yourself. especially when those things are dangerous.

  • @houstonj123 i saw no boulders in that gym that were high enough to not land on your feet. idk about this gym. but the one i go to the entire floor of the gym is a big 10 inch thick pad

  • @krypekeeper problems* not boulders >_<

  • @houstonj123 ummm....i've never heard of or seen anyone TRYING to land on their back on higher problems....always on your feet if you can help it.

  • @houstonj123 There are routes on bouldering problems, sometimes multiple routes. And are you stupid? Land on your back? Try that from 15 feet and let me know how it feels.

  • @olecow3 I was told land on your feet and allow your body to gently roll onto your back if the fall calls for it. Perhaps that's what he meant? :)

  • was that ryan higa at 2:13? o__O?

  • Comment removed

  • she is funny

  • i wana try!!

  • What's the song/melody at 3:31?? I really like it! Please &thank you to whoever knows(:

  • Yeah!!! Five Tens!!!!

  • its impossible. i tried it today.

  • Nice video.

But it would be easier for Americans to use the European standard system for both boulder and lead climbing. (From 3a to 9b) :-)

  • @seneca175 or not

  • @seneca175 The problem with that is most boulder's are very short, and very strenuous- where a high grade sport climb may have nothing more than a v2 on it, it's just really really long.

There are lots and lots of differant climbing grades- in the UK there are E grades to for Trad, to tell you how dangerous it is aswell....

It all gets very confusing- but I'm happy with V grades for bouldering, E grades for Trad and the 6a, 6b etc grades for sport.

  • I want to do that so badly!!

  • haha ur friend looks like Manny Pacquaio!!!

  • now who ish peterrr ?!

  • the grading system for bouldering goes from vb-v16 and the v stands for either vermin or it is also roman for 5 but it is not the same for instance v10 is not a 5.10

  • Ndtitanlady...no comment on your cute? :P um I better keep my ass on the ground lol fun to watch hahahaha

  • halaruis...... Halarius.

  • Boulder outside.

  • Sucked

  • just so you know "V" is the roman numeral for "5". The rating system for rock climbing goes from 5-5 to 5-15, because climbing indoors is in a controlled environment and using man made holds verses natural cracks, indoor climbing is generally considered one grade easier than outdoor. Thus if you can climb a 5-12 wall indoors that translates to a 5-11 outdoors. Have fun be safe and enjoy a awesome sport!!

  • @ThePowderHoundz go back to the gym gumby...

  • @ThePowderHoundz go back to the gym gumby...

  • The V in VB-V15 stands for "Vermin", after John "Vermin" Sherman, who devised it in the 50s at Hueco Tanks, a famous bouldering site in Texas. Therefore it is also called Hueco scale.

Rock climbing routes are usually graded after the YDS class, as in 5.10 or 5.13. The 5 classifies it as free climbing route. Meaning you do not need devices like ladders or hooks to climb it, but falls without safety gear would be fatal. And no indoor gym climbing routes are also classified as 5. routes.

  • @ThePowderHoundz V is an initial for Vermin. the scale goes from 5.0 to 5.15d. and a 5-12 indoors maybe a 5-13 outdoors...depends on who rated it.

  • "..loves and kisses and stuff... alright BUUHBYE!" wtf?

  • OH MY GOD U ARE GREAT, very nice GZ

  • I just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to go out and start bouldering. I just started yesterday and it is hella hard, and I kinda suck right now but hopefully I will get better :)

  • big up to u... good wee intro for newbies. I'm a climber myself and u made this pretty funny and interesting for every1 so nice 1 :)

  • I have a question. How do you get down? O_O

  • @bitesizerick depends on the climb. Some gyms have "topout" sections where you climb up over the wall and onto a platform that usually has stairs down. Some gyms have large "jug" holds for a downclimb. All else fails, most gyms don't let you boulder high enough that a fall would be exceptionally dangerous, just hang and drop to the mat.

  • @EvilLamas When training for climbing the idea is to build muscle endurance not sheer strength. You want to do 20+ reps with a lighter weight. 4-5 won't do much.

  • @Krelonai weights can help your climbing, it's all about how many reps you do- you see body builders doing around 15 reps, that just builds mass, not much strength, for pure strength, and little size you should aim for around 4-5 reps , working on mainly the shoulders biceps and back- forearms are hard to train since it's all isometric, curlsetc wont help.

Pullups help the most though, aswell as various lock offs and one handed hangs etc (and even one handed pull ups if you get strong enugh!)

  • @EvilLamas As the other guy said. You want muscular endurance not just strength. High reps low weight for endurance. Low reps high weight for strength/bulking up.

  • @Phillthy59 I climb with a guy who has allot of endurance, but not allot of strength- he out climbs me on long routes, but I wipe the flaw with him for Bouldering, bouldering requires power, not endurance.

Pull ups are still an amazing climbing exercise anyway, they build allot of power, in several areas, and some endurance.

  • @EvilLamas I'm not saying it doesn't have it's advantages. And most body weight exercises are good for you as you rarely need to lift much much more than that.

  • whats rock climbing????

  • You earned a like! haha

Grades dont matter! i ONLY climb Vfun:)

Also, where is this gym? It looks rad!

  • @deathtojersey & @jeffreng it's at Threshold Climbing Gym out in Riverside, CA.

  • WHERE IS THIS PLACE?!?!?! I must know. I hope it's in New York.

  • Please don't climb outside of your gym. I'd hate to have to quit going to my favorite crag.

  • lol

  • yes! great video...more of that please!

  • V stands for Vermin as in John Vermin Sherman.

  • lol shes funny

  • I've tried that before, it's really awesome!

  • good info but you are anoyying.

  • can you start rock climbing at like 13 years old? it looks so cool and i want to try and do it as a sport.

  • @dogdude2424 the earlier you start, the better you are. there are kids like 5 years old who climb hard.

  • thats why they make rock climber hand bars n stuff lol

  • was looking at the arch and going that looks really familiar... yeap threshold lol

enjoyed the video. your friend is very 'dramatic' ahaha

  • Hi! I am really interested in beginning rock climbing. I have even started to lift weights, run, and do yoga. But I was wondering what kind of training is involved in rock climbing? How much would this training cost? What exercises can I do to help with rock climbing? Where/how do I start? Any other info would be really, really appreciated! Thank you very much!

    > : { D

  • Haha I go to threshold I was thinking that place looked familiar

  • great video started this too

  • cute vid!

  • yah, i have the same hands. not sexy. I too just started rockclimbing you actually inspried me to do it from your other video. still not an expert lol, and still having trouble with those V 2s. but it is a whole lot more fun than working out.

  • noo! Stupid phone, posting not evenemang remotely finished comments! As I was saying, Ive only boulderd there times and is already getting a bit freakshly obsessed (My friend

  • Wow! You rock! (inserte lame boulderjoke here). Ive only boulderd

  • 3 months and now an expert.

    Oh yeah

  • @rodgerdodger57 3 months and psyched... is your name Sharma? No? Probably not an expert then...

  • awesome vid

  • i knew it, ur good at that kind of sport. you have such firm arm, i would kill to have that arms

  • i've always wondered how people did the upside down climbing stuff...and i wish i would have known to use talc, that would have made things so much easier. you think i would have realized from being in gymnastics

  • @ToasterRehab Probably ounds unpopular but I think many people overuse chalk. especially if you climb easy-medium routes with nice holds which you can nicely wrap your hands around to, in fact you hardly need chalk. if you chalk up all the time the risk is for it to become compulsive and also if use it all the time, when you in fact really need firmer grip and dry hands you won't feel any difference. Chalk is useful but it won't make you a better climber. Strong hands and good technique will

  • @LapoSettepanze that makes a lot of sense. thanks!

  • i've always wondered how people did the upside down climbing stuff...and i wish i would have known to use talc, that would have made things so much easier. you think i would have realized from being in gymnastics

  • if your in southern cali. id be more than willing to take you to some good outdoor sport climbing and bouldering places. but if you think your hooked now. once you climb outdoors you will become a climbing junky

  • stick with it. climbing is so rewarding. go outdoors! outdoor climbing is the best!

oh and PS. dont relax on the safty. keep the map in a good place. i feel from only 15 feet. and my foot hit right on the side of the crash pad and i broke my ankle in 2 places. so now all i get to do is watch videos of climbing for a few more months

  • free climb, not free fall.

  • finally went to the gym & had a blast!

  • Comment removed

  • Well Tard you obviously did not watch all the videos because several of solos of V6 problems higher than 30 feet. Pull you head out of your ass and grow up. Gym are like "Trix" for children. So go suck off someone who cares.

  • @Kelebrinlith Yeah because professional climbers don't train in gyms or anything, right?

  • I owned a climbing gym for 12 years. People who pull plastic are not climbers. They need rock. I'm 58 years old and still leading 11's the gym rats struggle trying to figure out which hold is on for the route they thrash on. Only liberals consider any kind of creative criticism as hate. Which makes you a mental midget along with with your plastic pulling bitch.

  • @Kelebrinlith @Kelebrinlith Nobody cares what you've owned or how hard you climb stop talking yourself up. Gyms are the foundation of learning how to climb and getting stronger, i don't see why you're hating so much on them. Especially since you said you used to own one. Also i dont see how "Let me know when you start cranking V6 unroped 30 feet off the deck. Till then shut the fuck up!" as constructive criticism.

  • @Jared123d I would also point out that what is said to be the worlds hardest boulder problem, is about 3 feet off the ground!

And climbing doesn't need to be rock or resin, it can be buildings bridges, trees or cars...

Though rock is the most fun:)

  • @EvilLamas Don't forget Lucid Dreaming, also graded at V16/8c+.

  • USE HAND CREAM! :) And see you at V16s... :P

    T.

  • GREAT video! lol! Love the sexy new technique by your boy lmao! Keep it up dude! Climbing is a STELLAR sport and TONS of fun! Nothing like pushing your body to limits!

PS-What's up with Kelebrinlith's negative comment below me? Rock climbing is a fun sport, most people learn in gyms and advanced climbers use it for training purposes but still fun! Have a blast!

  • can you do the monkey man technicue

  • cool video! girl who is just wanting to climb here... i think i learned some stuff! Thanks!

  • uh oh watch out Alex Puccio here comes The Titan Lady

  • @luvsbuffgurls LMAO @ your user name

  • @ndtitanlady omg i've been leaving complimentary comments on your vids for like a year now and you're just noticing? silly girl...sexy, totally hot, beautiful and total proof that chicks can be feminine, sexy and muscular, but still silly, lol.

  • 2:44 looks like higaniga

  • OMG i do bouldering
