  • well , i recently renovated a few rooms in my brownstone including ripping down all the dropped ceilings. That insulation is killer man your skin will itch for days.

About that radiant heating system, shit that looks crazy complicated. I have a simple forced air furnace but with only one zone. But I installed a digital thermostat and cut my gas heating bill by $100 a month from last year. I would recomend everyone install one. A programable one.

  • Nice technique.....cool dog, and the guy talks a bit like Arnie from Cali :-)

  • yeah thats wall filling is great until u get a spark then that house will have another fire

  • It is true that fire is a concern with any wall filling, especially something that is wood-based, but see the research at Wikipedia (look up Cellulose insulation) showing that fire-retardant cellulose insulation is just as safe as other forms (fiberglass loose-fill, styrofoam).

  • so many people build houses and waste so much just because they dont think there's better's way's to do it. technology is moving forward and this is the future.
