I saw it here in Illinois probably a month ago. It was around the sun for two days. Just a few days ago me and my girlfriend were outside, normal sunny/with clouds kind of day. We went on a walk and the clouds around the sun were rainbow colored. As they moved away they obviously looked normal. I know light and reflection and blah blah blah but it just seemed messed up. Rainbow colored clouds, in the middle of the day surrounding the sun? I don't know...I have never seen it anyway

Sundogs....They occur on a cold sunny morning or evening, when the sun is near the horizon and the air is loaded with ice crystals. The ice crystals refract (bend) the sunlight causing an image of the sun to appear on either or both sides of the sun.

....... But sundogs apper in the horizons....

PS:, when we seen it in Australia, it was around 1 am in the morning, freaked me out cos inside the circle was dark greak cloud cover, but so smooth looking, and on the outside of the ring was light grey clouds, and also a fine smog like ambiance all around.......

@BrainChild666 , it was a full moon, and like i said, the halo was huge with distinc cloud color inside and out.. just like you would see a full moon with a slight haze around it due to the atmosphere...

That ring you see is a reflection from the sun, we had the same last week in Australia, it's when a the Sun shines on a planet then reflects off the moon onto earth...I done my studies last week and there was no planets infront of the sun except Elenin, so possably what you seen is eather Elenin, Venus, or Mercury reflecting...

That is the second one I seen today, great video, makes me think they are hologramming the sky, that just adds to all the other strange events. I doubt this is something a graphics guy would attempt to create, looks un-touched to me. but I am called a doomtard, so I will not even try to say what this is.

@SlipparySurface Good observation. Ya know when I look at some of those Chemical Trails coming out of planes? They look like the driveway does after clean the oil drops off with gasoline, that rainbow like effect.

But everytime i see a halo it is in the remains of aircrafts. if a plane leave a trail it will spread out like a fine mist a few hours later. I even saw a rainbow in a "fresh" chemtrail once (in the halo). but nothing like this.. a fucin upsidedown long one outside the halo. kinda freaky, i like that xD
