my no.1 hardest achievement to earn for me is the damn Limbo achievement where you have to beat the whole game without dying more than 5 times. and some of the earlier levels have some fucked up timed jumps where its easy for anyone to die no matter how good you are at the game. and you will still has 30 some chapters to go :P

I disagree, the achievement "All Stages Cleared (Inferno)" from Earth Defense Force: 2017 is the hardest achievement. Inferno on that game is nearly impossible plus there are 53 long missions.
@King70955 Well LP2 is a fun game in coop with cool bossfights, unfortunately all my friends stopped playing it and i cba going trough hard/insane solo. Quite happy with my 300 on the game anyway. oh i forgot to mention in previous comment your health continuously degrades in that mode when getting that achievement so you have to constantly search for healing items and theres only small amount of healing items, most of which you get from killing the bosses in that mode which is risky because you cant get hurt much on em or you screw yourself for achievement.....

I got the 7 day survivor achievement on dead rising it was the hardest achievement i've ever gotten in a game and belongs in any top 10 hardest achievements i think
its in unlimited mode or whatever its called, and very limited healing items, i completely ran out of food and BARELY achieved it, and i made it to 6 day mark and died before wasting a real day on this once i was so mad :(

Mile High Club is not impossible, it just takes a TON of practice runs. I finally got it and I'm an occasional FPS player. Watch several videos on here to get some tips, and then borrow from each if you have to (that's what I ended up doing). You should do the top 10 frustrating achievements...yeah I'm looking at you Fable 3 and all of your legendary weapons.
The Trials HD one is pretty hard. I have all the achievements on that game and that one took me about 2 weeks. And I have atleast a gold medal on every single track too, including the Extremes. Just to put that achievement into perspetive.
You should update your list. Apparantly (according to Giantbomb), Gears of War 3 has a ridiculous achievement called 'Seriously?'.
What you have to do is clear the game 100% (level 100 + all medals). That's insane since one of the medals include clearing all 50 waves on Insane difficulty in Horde mode (impossible).
Another one is getting a revenge on a player who killed you three times in a row 175 times! After you got this medal, you have to do even MORE revenges (maybe...1000).
Hey neat, you used my Star Ocean vids :) BTW, I think FFXI beats LP2 in terms of difficulty. FFXI is just.. I mean, we're more than likely talking several tens of thousands of hours, not kidding. In fact, the leveling up part is among the easiest. Things like get a relic are absurd.

@Shareapie No, because that one is only get to the top of the leaderboards. Lost Planet 2's achievement requires you to get to the top of the leaderboards, fully level up every character, and unlock all of the hundreds of things in the game, many of which you have to be playing with 4 players for.

The "Wanted" Achievement from grand theft auto IV was a fucking bitch to get. I had to sit in my house for a whole week playing that stupid hangmans noose shit.

I agree lost planet 2 is super time consuming. I finally made it to lv 99 in the nevec class with points 2 ability. Getting to lv 99 with the other charaters is such a waste of time and than trying to get number 1 on the leadership board, come on! Capcom should kick down something nice for the person or people who commit this much time to one game.

There's this achievement in this game called Battlezone where u have to get 1,000,000 points 30G achievement It took me half an hour to get 1,000 Nobody has the achievement and the tanks will spawn behind you and that takes 5 minutes just to turn around and shoot it this is by far the hardest achievement ever just nobody knows about it its called something like commarade
It was the only gameplay that I could find that was applicable, not to mention it showed the full extents of the achievement/trophy. It's on both consoles, so it shouldn't matter
THESE are achievements. THIS is something good you have achieved. Something that required alot of effort to achieve. Personaly, i think all achivements should be hard. Not bullshit easy. If you do a bullshit easy achievement like "Press start" what's the point? Did you achieve something?

I agree lost planet 2 is super time consuming. I finally made it to lv 99 in the nevec class with points 2 ability. Getting to lv 99 with the other charaters is such a waste of time and than trying to get number 1 on the leadership board, come on! Capcom should kick down something nice for the person or people who commit this much time to one game.

@TeshiKennedy117 I play Team Fortress 2, and yeah Blockbuster is like impossible. It would have to be an excellent video that would have to get known. But it doesn't really take skill. The hardest achievement in Xbox i've heard of untill I saw this list was GRAW 2 world champion (4th on the list). But number 1 seems harder even.

There's this achievement in this game called Battlezone where u have to get 1,000,000 points 30G achievement It took me half an hour to get 1,000 Nobody has the achievement and the tanks will spawn behind you and that takes 5 minutes just to turn around and shoot it this is by far the hardest achievement ever just nobody knows about it its called something like commarade

It was the only gameplay that I could find that was applicable, not to mention it showed the full extents of the achievement/trophy. It's on both consoles, so it shouldn't matter

THESE are achievements. THIS is something good you have achieved. Something that required alot of effort to achieve. Personaly, i think all achivements should be hard. Not bullshit easy. If you do a bullshit easy achievement like "Press start" what's the point? Did you achieve something?
