  • I am a new subby and already I love your tutoring.

  • Hi, I live in Australia and of course its hot so do you know any foundations that would last a day and though the heat without smudging????

  • yoursooo pretty even without make up :)

  • You are sooooo cute :)

  • I have lots of freckles over most of my face and I can't find anything to help tone them down. What do you suggest??

  • @keannelemoual The only thing you can so is wear high SPF and they should fade over time. I wouldn't try anything like lemon juice its too harsh on the face.

  • its kinda does matter on the brush you use

  • U look like demi lavato a little

  • makeup chair, i tried to do tht foundation thing and it failed miserably :( wot shood i do? is it my skin tone or texture?

  • I have tan skin that has a reddish tint due to being native american but it is just a tint. Any foundation That i get is either too pale or has too much of an orange color to it. Do you have any suggestions that i could use?

  • Hello Makeup Chair! Any help? I cannot find a foundation that suits my skin colour, I have quite olive skin and so far, I haven't found a foundation that looks right. Do you know any brands that do darker foundations or lots of choice? ^^ Thank you.

  • @EverDarkEden Try L'oreal N or W :) They have a great range!

  • @TheMakeupChair Thank you! ^^

  • STFU!!!u talk to much!!!

  • You're beautiful.

  • My face is really oily so I get spots on my chin and my hairline mainly, but how can I cover my spots on my hairline?

  • @LolliManley I have found that if you use your foundation into your hairline it works or even a dab of concealer.

  • @kryrain19 Thanks :)

  • How much is a primer because i can have really bad blemishes

  • @cindyrocks222 Depends the one I use it €6 by Elf :)

  • I have acidic skin and I am having a hard time choosing a foundation that matches my skin. Any suggestions?

  • @galvem01 I haven't come across acidic skin before but I would assume the shade changes so make sure to test the foundation and try foundation for sensitive skin because they have a neutral pH

  • omg u look amazing with just a foundation :O

  • hey my skin isnt oily and i do everything that you do in the morning for school but i have gym 2nd period and it just ruins everything i do make up wise and i try to re do it but i only have like 10 mins. after i get dressed. And i end up lookin like crap for the rest of the day. ): help make up chair?

  • @277Jordan I would say skip make-up for the first period, (wear concealer if you have to) wait will after gym your skin will be cleaner and you will be able to apply your make-up on fresh skin which is easier and saves you time, also mineral foundation is easier to buff in then liquid foundation. Maybe try just applying concealer and then a light layer of foundation or mineral powder foundation and you should be good to go in about 5 mins. You still young don't worry about make-up too much :)

  • You do your make-up so well, how much do these things cost.....cause make-up is very expensive these days especially primer.....what should i do, I only use Cover girl clean make-up with pressed powder. I do have oily skin. with some blemishes what should i use/do? thank-you...

  • @purplerain2112 Just shop around, I use alot of Elf because they are the cheapest and in my option have some awesome products. Have a look at the Elf website :)

Liquid or cream to powder foundation would help with your oily skin. Always remember to remove your make-up at night to help heal your blemishes.

  • wow!! this was so helpful I decided to subscribe. good job!!

  • are those what they call bedroom eyes? i love your eyes without makeup! you look so pretty!

  • oh! i almost forgot! what do i do for oily skin??

  • i love your vids, they're so helpful ^_^

  • I love ur videos ......

    They r so helpful ! <3

  • Hey what colour foundation do you use?:)

  • do you have a tutorial for the makeup you have on your eyes in this vid?? I LOVE it!

  • @leo7taylor8nm9tennis Yep, its the how to apply eye liner video =]

  • @TheMakeupChair ohh k thank you!

  • @themakeupchair your videos are so helpful, i've only been doing makeup for a month and you have helped me alot, thank you!

  • apply yogurt as a spot treatment on your acne and marks as well... leave it over night... i used to have worst acne then yours...now all gone

  • @rumah1988 Does it have to be a specific type of yogurt or and type?

  • @LiliBabii2010 Aw I am so glad you like them =]

  • @TheMakeupChair thanks so much and I love your videos :)

  • @TheMakeupChair oh great :) thanks so

  • @TheMakeupChair oh I see... And do u know about how much the delivery costs?

  • @EvePattinson Its not much and I think if you check out their facebook page they have codes and stuff for discount and free delivery!

  • @TheMakeUpChair hey where can you buy E.L.F products? i've never seen it here...

  • @EvePattinson You have to get them online =]

  • I need a good moisturizer.

I use the Clinique Dramatically Different lotion, but it's still not enough.

I also have blemishes as well, possibly from it because it does contain mineral oil. :/

  • @mrsjoejonas007 My moisturizer is Nivea Soft (in the white tube) I love this, and nothing else has ever worked so well for my skin!

  • what powder puff did you use?

  • @AlicelnWonderIand Use one from Tescos (supermarket), don't spend too much on powder puffs they are all the same really =]

  • Very informative! :] And I'm diggin' yo accent! :]

  • i use both a liquid and mineral powder on my skin too.. i just feel like it gives a much more flawless look to my face.. plus i can never find a foundation that exactly maches my skin so i go with a liquid that is a little darker and a powder that is lighter and they even each other out... idk.. that probably isnt the "right" thing to do but its the only solution i have found to matching a foundation to my skin

  • @lulallybayb If it works for you its the right thing, thats what matters plus I do that some times I did it today =]

  • Hi I was wondering what you would think would be the best foundation for me, im in a constant battle w acne and I have acne scaring. The only foundation ive ever used is Maybelline dream matte mousse in natural beige, and does no justice for me, it doesnt gice me good coverage and gets very oily very fast my skin in very oily in some areas and dry in others . if you could reccomend a drug store fouundation that works great i would greatly appreciate it (: thank you.

  • Hi! :)

going to get the elf primer on your recommendation :) will let you know how i get one.

was just wondering, could you please suggest a good translucent setting powder, rather than using a powder foundation on top. The one I use seems to ruin all my work i've down with foundation and concealer as it looks very chalky and seems to just sit on top of my face rather than blend in. esp on my nose and upper lip.. seems to just shop up all my little facial hairs! eugh!

    any help appreciated :)

  • @xbirdyblue that was supposed to say 'how i get on' rather than get one! as you obviously know how to get one! lol

  • @xbirdyblue I would use a loose powder and a big brush. Rimmel Silky loose powder is always nice I usually use that! Use a big brush and brush down the face when you are finished to make sure the hairs lay flat thats what I do! :)

  • @TheMakeupChair

Thanks alot, i'll try that :)

  • @TheMakeupChair i LOVE the primer. it came the very next day! its great thanks alot. I used this with bourjois healthy mix foundation and i dont even need setting powder with this! i tend to use a very small amount anyway and i dont get any problems atall, so i havent tried the powder you suggested, but when mine runs out i'll give it a go :) thanks again xx

  • @xbirdyblue Aw I am so glad! :) Two of my favourites! Enjoy xx

  • i really like the way you explain things

  • Hi :) Just wondering what Primers you woould reccommend ?:)

  • @katzpages1 I love Elf primer! :)

  • Heeey i use Rimmel Lasting Finish. But when i put it on it doesn't stay on the whole day! what should i do? :)

  • @shannanmarywhite I made a video about long lasting foundation that you can check out :)

  • what brush did you use to applyyour foundation? :)

    x

  • @catherinebrighteyesx Just a brush I got in the drug store "Royal brushes" I think :)

  • @whateverlife87 It might be just the foundation texture. If you dab it with a clean tissue and then powder over it it will give it a smoother texture, otherwise try a more matte finish foundation!

  • you have used avon foundations

  • omg this was so helpful! wow iv been applying my foundation wrong all this time lol!

    XxX

  • very informative thankyou for sharing this video!

  • @norae7 You're totally right. I have those natural hairs too and they freak me out! But they're not my main problem.... ohh my godness lol

  • what concealer do you use? :)

  • @YellowSocks94 Usually Rimmel match perfection!

  • @norae7 Oh I know! I hate that too! thats why I have to go over those areas with a clean tissue to try and remove most of the make-up there!

  • Thanks soooo much for this amazing tutorial :)

  • @MissAdamLambert888 Thank you so much!

  • My problem with foundation is: my skin is not "flat", you know? when i touch it, i feel a lot of reliefs lol i really don't know what to do because when i apply foundation, it seems SO fake! you can really see that i'm using foundation, it's terrible! but anyway.... this video is very informative, thank you. :)

  • @irenearaujo1 Might need to use a lighter shade and some thing more suited to your skin type so that it blends in more but I know what you mean!

  • @TheMakeupChair Yeah! I do have to find a foundation good for my skin :(

  • I haven't watched the video yet (I'm about to) but I just wanted to say that of all the makeup gurus I watch your one of my favorite! I love love LOVE that you use more affordable products!!

  • @BattleAxCourt Aw thank you Doll!

  • very useful video thanks :)

  • Thank you for actually explaining what to do and why instead of just showing it.

  • @cristyleigh Aw thanks hun!

  • @cristyleigh I agree.

    THANK YOU Sinead!

  • hi do u no where i could buy elf makeup in galway:)

  • @XjedicatedX I think it is only online I'm afraid but they send to your house and the site is great!

  • Thanks for sharing!!!!!! SO helpful!

  • @MotorLillebror Thanks!

  • Thanks! :)

  • Enjoyed the tutorial, Your skin really does look flawless when you are finished. I notice you use a lot of Elf products, do you find them good? Does there mineral powder give good coverage. I Have Mature skin with some redness, anything in particular you would recommend? I live in Galway. :-) Thanks Sinead

  • @eils211 Aw thank you, Yeah I love them nice to use and good price too. Its very light to medium I use it on my grandma and my older aunt as it just gives a bit of coverage without looking heavy and just evens out the skin tone. If you find that redness is the only thing then you could try using a green camouflage concealer and then use a light foundation over the top and it will cover the redness and you should be good to go! :) Oh and the Elf primer works wonders on mature skin I think!

  • @TheMakeupChair Thanks for the advice. Will try the elf primer.

  • @TheMakeupChair I was thinking of that too for some reason I find them to be cheap...maybe because I started with Mac and then went higher, but I still like your videos =]
