I use linseed Oil and white spirits/turps to dilute the paints. Hope that helps.

Hi, I have some questions. Did you tone the canvas first? Also did you use charcoal to do the drawing and if so why? I've seen other videos, where they use chacoal but I have yet to understand why they do so instead of using a regular pencil. If you could answer my questions I'd be very grateful.
