Triumph Street Triple -- 2008

Picked mine up in march - just in time for winter! So I just bought some warmer gloves and I am on it all the time. It is an awesome ride and so much fun. It was worth the wait! 9 months is a looooooong time though.. Have fun!

how many miles can you ride in a day before it gets unconfortable? and are you a tall rider?

I'm 173cms - tall for a chick I guess. I have only ridden about 300kms in a day so far and didnt get uncomfortable at all - just needed a stretch as you would on any bike. It has a nice fairly upright position so I have found it quite comfie, but it is so much fun you arent really worrying about "comfort"!

hi, I'm facinated with motorbikes. Can you tell me what's the relevance of one's height with riding ? thanks

relevance of height?? well if it was not relavent when looking for a bike, I would fit on a CBR600, on a B-King, basically on any bike. And it isnt the case, Im 6'1" and I don't even fit on the B-King (my knees don't fit on the tank because of the air intakes on both sides). That's why I ask how tall people are it gives me a better idea if 6'+ riders fit on the bike or not.

Cool bike and i reckon the pick of the bunch if ur in the 600cc or even 750cc market. But I just can't get over the looks. It's the ugliest thing on the road!

I threw a leg over also after riding several japanese bikes of the same ilk. I rode 500 meters down the road and knew I had found my bike. The only downside is the 1-4 month wait.

Get mine 30th May. Just over 3 months. I'd do some shoppin around. It was going to be longer but I did haggling and annoyed the heck out of the salesman.

wow not long to go then!!! Well i bought a GXSR 750 after I put my deposit down on my triple. Needed something for summer! As I have to wait till Oct I thought I may as go the full hog and get the St Triple 'R' when it finally comes out!
