  • I hate the concept of this movie!! I'm adopted so I don't agree with taking a kid that was your away from his adopted parents.

  • Brilliant Script , Brilliant Performance , and a Brilliant Movie altogether, . . Will Definitely make you cry . .#MustWatch

  • Great film

  • This was by far the best film I have seen in years, I cried the whole way through

  • @WaterlooRoad0096

100% agreed! i love it and bawled like a baby....in fact i'm crying now....see this movie!

  • I am adopted and also an adoptive mom. I loved how the characters were flawed people doing the best the could with the cards they were dealt. I felt the film was thought provoking, I inspired a ton of discussion with the group of people I watched it with. In the end, I didn't think there were no villians or heros, just a group of people that loved one child very deeply. Great Film!!

  • Does anyone know the name of the song @ 0:39 - 1:10 ?

  • @the1comment What I Cannot Change by LeAnn Rimes

  • @zebra96003 Thanks, but thats not the one I meant. I mean the one from 0:39 ...it's like movie music. Ochestral stuff or such. It remind me of John Murphy's kind of type of style... but it isn't the Kick-Ass ("Sunshine" or "In a Heartbeat") song either. I can't find it anywhere. So again: If anyone knows the song at 0:39 - 1:10 -> Please let me know :)

  • I'm confused. What country's laws lets people change their mind about about adoption a full three or so years later? And again, a known felon with history of alcohol abuse where he gets violent is favoured over the couple with a yacht? I thought it was going to be about the family who gave up the child stealing him back because I can't understand why any legal system would think it would be better for the child to be ripped from the only home he has known?

  • @fatomelette See the movie!

  • amazing film and some of the most beautiful acting i've ever seen..

  • I noticed the yacht in this movie is for sale online and was curious what the movie was and came on youtube to check out this trailer. I will have to watch it, looks like a great movie. I would love to be the new owner of this yacht if it stays for sale much longer, can't go wrong with a Hunter 41DS

  • The book was so much better! I was so dissappointed with the movie :(

  • ah the book is better. its like watching a movie in your head((:

  • haha the Monte Carlo trailer came up and i thought it was this movie. haha ads

  • good movie..but sad also...just watched it last night

  • Who does he end up with??

  • I personally know Berry pepper =)

  • This was an emotional movie-I loved it.

  • if you want a reason to cry, go get raped

how about a good movie that makes you feel good instead of bad, or are you masochist?

  • awsesome movie very cool

  • I think that the biological parents should be a part of the kids life but they shouldnt take someone's child away from their parents even though they might be biologically related to them.

  • how could these people do this? there should be a law that the biological parents can't take the children back

  • i havent seen this yet but wtf ?? let the kid stay with the rich parents !! theyre much better than the real ones omg :@

  • i love this movie ! after seeing this trailer, i watched the movie immediately b/c Cole was in it b/c i loved him from chase with Annie frost (: , and it was amazingly fine!

  • I will never drink coors again.

  • Karen Kingsbury is one of the good authors of the day. Just finished my first book written by her, "Oceans Apart" and it nearly struck at my heart the whole time. I sure hope filmmakers decide to do a movie on "Oceans Apart".

  • This looks like a beautiful film and I'm surprised that I haven't seen it yet. When Barry Pepper's in a movie, you know it's gonna be amazing. ;)

  • Sterilize Hillbillies!

Here's this movie which very apply illustrates why hillbillies need to be exterminated along with phrases like Rebel "Yeeehaaa" yells and the ignorant red-neck southernized culture!

  • you cant do that to a child!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm reading the book rite now and I LUV it!!!!!

  • This movie looks a lot like Losing Isaiah... but I LOOVVEE Karen Kingsbury!! I would love to see this. :)

  • SI DAA,M-A IMPRESIONAT!!!Merita vazut e putin spus,e un film exceptional,de fapt o DRAMA 100%!Un final la care nimeni nu se asteapta!!!

  • Im a dude & this got to me..

  • wow

  • i didnt get to c this movie yet but the trailer shows how emotional and inspiring this movie is. and to know that Barry Pepper plays in this too:) love him!

  • i Really Really want to see it. But we dont have it in Norway. :(

  • being a birth mom myself i so related to this wow such an awesome movie

  • it makes me cry... :')

  • 8 people cried

  • does anyone know the song that's playing from 1.13 onwards...??

  • Ohh i am crying and is just the trailer.

  • Beautiful, moving and emotional!!

  • THEY GAVE HIM UP FOR ADOPTION!!! wth, do they think they're doing? just leave the kid alone.

  • Every mother should see this and think about her son or daughter.

All of us should see it anyway, that's a movie what could bring a tear for every person's eye.

A great one, it was. Really.

  • You can't do that to a child! Not when he's that age. Maybe when he's a few weeks or months old, when he doesn't realize what's going on, but not when he's 7!

  • aww this movie looks soooo sadddd.....

  • The director of this came to my school no lie!

  • tell me how it ends please!!!!

  • I read the book and loved it!!! last night i just watched the movie on rogers on demand not even knowing there was a movie and LOVED ITT i recommend it to everyone for its comedy, but inspiring deep storyline youll love

  • someone message me about what happens in this film!! please :)

  • the kid gets shot by his biological father in the end

  • @pimpamhenk why would u say that? You gave away the whole endingg

  • @pimpamhenk why would u say that? You gave away the whole endingg

  • @oreoboo14

he lied, just watch the movie, it was great

  • @pimpamhenk OH MY GOD!! you're lying right?

  • This movie really moved me because adoption is one of the two options I have (apart from surrogate) in the future if I want to have kids. I wouldn't know what to do if this happens to me; I'm certain though that I'd give my all to keep my child, just what the adoptive parents did. I was crying at times, not gonna lie..

  • BEAUTIFUL movie!

  • Love this movie

  • What an incredible film. Very emotional, we were all crying.

Such a good message! And a very satisfying ending. :)

  • So whoo keeps the kid???

  • whats the name of the song at the end?

  • couldnt the first couple just have had another kid instead of taking the little boy away, because Im just thinking of the boy here.. :( (Ps no hate comments plz!)

  • Selfish, selfish, selfish! You must think of the child always. Where will the child have the best life? They could have come to an agreement and have visitation rights, like the cool uncle and aunt who has the good trips and outings without the brush your teeth, do your homework, don't kick your sister crap. It can be worked out if you think of the kid's welfare instead of using the child as a tool for filling your own holes.

  • This movie is amazing, I don't like to read books so I loved this movie, my husband and I were crying like babies.

  • Of course, the saddest thing about movies like this and even real life situations is that the child ends up hurt the most. This is what always happens when people who have no business being parents in the first place make the decision to bring a child into the world.

  • "What I Cannot Change" by Leann Rimes

  • @legeurts

    Thank you.

  • If you read the book, you'd be disappointed with this movie.

I read the book within 3 days...I was in love with it! I searched everywhere for the movie, psyched to watch it on screen! I just finished watching it and I must say I'm disappointed with it. In the book, Rip was very mean, very cruel, bringing the boy back stuttering and scarred. In the movie, they made him likeable. They also lacked the relationship between the two sisters and the religion behind it. No religion whatsoever intended.

  • @bigtunatutorials Thanks for letting me know. I will read the book first. But I would like to watch the movie, because often the movie version is almost like another book, bring out another angle and emphasizing other aspects of a situation. It just gives you another angle of view and if you dont try to compare the both like apples and oranges, you wont be so disappointed.

  • What's the song on the trailer??

  • What's the name of the song the woman is singing at the end of the trailer?

    It's so beautiful :)

  • I want to see this movie. I read the book, and it's so good. :)

  • This happend to my English teacher who is do sweet they were going to adopt this little girl everything was great until the biological dad got out of jail and ripped her away from them. Now kimmy lives in a trailer and her dad is on drugs...

  • i teared up.... that's so so sad :'(

  • why not just have another kid?

oh that's right, Hollywood's out of ideas... Oh well, let's just invent some drama over a kid they didn't raise.

  • @CrystalM2008 I can't believe you don't get why...

  • whatt is the song playing in the background?!

  • wow - goosebumps all over!!!

  • Reminds me of Losing Isaiah!

  • what's the name of the song playing in the trailer?

  • @vampiregirl1806 What i cannot change by LeAnn Rimes

  • How did the movie end? Was the boy able to stay with his adopted parents?

  • @daretodream86 His real parents 'kidnapped' him, then realized he was better off with his adoptive ones and gave him fully to them

  • I straight up cried..holy crap not going to see that movie haha

  • this trailer made me cry

  • This was such an amazing movie!!!

  • Is Mira Sorvino born-again?

  • waaaaaaaaa!

  • My genetic father wanted my birth mom to stay with him and keep me. She gave me up and left him. So this hits very close to home. I don't think anyone is trying to hurt the boy but thing get messy when this happens; and it can and does happen in the real world. This story could have been mine.

  • @nesuada My two brothers were taken into fostor care because my mother was an addict and their birthdays are Sept 5 and Oct 5. This time of year is always hard they both now are 40 and 41, she has children and I have family out there somewhere this trailer really touched me. Keep your head up

  • wow!

  • From the trailer, this movie looks great! Can't wait for it to come to all the theaters.

  • so i understand that the second song is LeeAnn Rhymes, but does anyone know the title of the song from 0:40 - 1:11?

  • This was one of the best books I have ever read. I can't wait to see this movie.

  • This looks so good. I'm definitely going to see this!

  • I am adopted and have never met my real parents, but I truly love my adopted parents who have raised me as their own. I can't imagine life without them because they provided me with something special....a family.

  • Song is LeAnn Rimes - What I Cannot Change.

  • What is the song that's in the background? It's beautiful

  • LOL hilariously bad, im laughing at all the chicks crying in the comments fucking pathetic, this is laughable

  • just watching the preview makes me sick to see birth parents ripping a child away from adoptive parents who are CLEARLY giving the child EVERYTHING possible!!

The birth mother should stick to her original decision and leave well enough alone!

  • what a trailer :O

  • This movie was AMAZING! I saw it yesterday night, there wasn't a dried eye in the audience.

  • Wtf is wrong with that loser of a father? That pisses me off. I can't stand parents that treat their children like that.

  • i just finished this book..it is a very good story..emotional but good ...i can't wait to watch the movie in a few days!!!

  • i'm on the adoptive parents' side. the biological parents are absolutely stupid. you can't just give a child up for adoption and take him back six years later.

  • the song is called 'what i cannot change' lean rimes

  • Sounds like a good movie!

  • this is so sad!

  • holy shit, first time i've ever cried watching a trailer!

  • aww i only seen the trailer & i was sad :( the real dad is a jackass but i feel sorry for the real mum

  • This movie looks amazing. Can't wait!

  • wait?..so who was his real dad?..

  • @imJackyAN the guy that came out of jail was his real dad, the other parents with the suburban normal life are foster parents or adoptive parents

  • nothing original
