  • hey man - don't let 3D Film Factory get you down. They've been insulting my 3D videos too. I don't know why they think this is a good thing to do. I'll certainly never buy a rig from these jerks. Good luck and keep shooting!

  • sorry - didn't mean to be harsh. I went skydiving once - so it takes balls to make a 3D video of the experience. I was too busy being nervous when I did it. Newer videos are much improved ! Best

  • This 3D quality sucks ! Don't get me wrong - 3D parachuting is cool. But the inside of the plane footage and some of the close ups -- the parallax is so far off -- it's enough to give you a headache. It's bad. Another reason why GoPro 3D is best for YouTube only. You could never use this for 3D cable or theaters.

  • @3dfilmfactory Yeah I know Its all in the top comment, this was one of my first 3D videos & its made with a custom built rig (NOT THE NEW 3D GOPRO SYSTEM) while I was learning how to make 3D videos - I'm aware of the convergence errors now & yes I should have left those parts out, Try some of the newer videos on my channel as they get better each time I make one, (& are made with the New 3D GoPro system now ) I would be interested to see what you think of them.

  • It looks great on my 3DTV but yes, the convergence at the start of the clip is out due to the subject being too close to the camera, Its also out at the end due to the cameras moving when the Schute was pulled I should have cut that part out but it was one of my 1st 3D clips so i was still learning as i went & just left it in.

  • @NeilSurry I was going to comment on the convergence, but it looks like you have it figured out. Don't worry we all have a learning curve when it comes to 3D. My first 3D camera was two GoPros superglued to a piece of aluminum before they came out with their 3D case, and it wasn't nearly as refined. The difference view in Cineform Studio is great for the convergence. Good luck on future videos.

  • can anyone tell me how this looks on a 3D TV? Cause the closeup footage is pretty bad with green/red glasses.

  • Nice one!
