In the Summer of 200 WorkSource invited young adults between the ages of 14-24 who met theUSDOL eligibility requirements, to apply for participation in a summer work experience program. The Summer Success program was funded by recovery funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.Over 1,300 young people were placed throughout the six-county region. The youths received both education and hands-on work experience in a variety of projects.
