I couldn't care less about spv2 now because it's cancelled. I just like to play the poa beta every now and then. What I really wanted was mpg3 by cmt but they gave that up too :( at least they released 4 maps of mpg3 but I guess no full mpg3 means no mpg4 with armor abilities and halo reach weapons or something like that :(

What the FUCK are you talking about? The MP team of CMT is still working on MPG4, and adding new weapons but there won't be bullshit armor abilities or Reach weapons. The goal of the original CMT was never to copy Halo 3, so the goal of this MP team is to do the same but keep adding on.

maybe this thing that i am about to comment is a bug.....on all levels, when i do the cheat_all_weapons code, not all of the weapons show up. and the cheat_all_vehicles code, not a single vehicle shows up, and one more thing, when i do the deathless player cheat, the console says "false"

the thing that i don't like about the poa version is that the other spartans don't turn around smoothly, what i mean is that you can see them looking one way, then when you try to grab their attention, they just then appear as they are now looking at you without actually seeing them turning around. and when you kill two or more spartans, they don't turn on you, but the marines will.

weeks later after Black Mesa Source (a remake of Half-life 1) SPV2 was announced. NOW 2010. BMS is about to be released very soon.

Think about it. In SPV2. They didn't have to make high poly models and remake a whole map. They almost have everything they need. NOT BMS. The only thing they had was the source engine. They almost had to start from scratch. Now. Don't tell me that CMT's task is much harder than BMS.

Something's up with CMT. They should have been finished a long time ago making SPV2

@sanman312 They released the betas for PoA, Halo, this level, Assault on the Control Room, and the Maw. They aren't all as complete as PoA, but they are kinda fun, although Halo is ridiculously long and really difficult.

I actually saw someone on the CMT team test this via broadcasting on xifre. They pretty much had all of the weapons from Halo 3 put in it, and they replaced the pistol with the ODST pistol concept and the ODST SMG concept. The SMG was incomplete though... o_O That and I think model might have been revised...

I did. As I said though, the SMG is incomplete since the scope of the SMG might be changed to better match the ODST counter-part. All-in-all though most of the weapons and stuff that I saw were fairly complete.

The Pistol just has a silencer and an actual laser for aiming, and the 'ODST' SMG just has a scope and a silencer, refered to as the 'Spec Ops' SMG since they have a regular SMG already. Try to remember they aren't trying to make everything Halo 3, they just based things off Bungie's concepts and such. The AR is really the only weapon ported close as they could (aside from Teh Lag's animations) because comon, it's just a perfect weapon.

the assult rifle needs to be tuned up. its too weak. it should be the same strength as the spiker. it shouldn't take 10 bullets to kill a grunt. and 3 clips to take down a brutes shields.
