@yerrdude it comes with a cable to do that, just plug it into the same place as you would any other input. (in)

the following is not an insult, read to the end before replying.

I don't know why I watched this.

I have pinnacle studio which won't need iSquint and in my opinion it's a better editor.

so I have no real idea on why I watched a tut on using a camera that I don't yet have for a program that I don't-rarely use.

although if I didn't have pinnacle and I did have an everio then I'd probably follow these steps.

@sweedlesincdotcom do any of the folders have any sort of video files in them? try recording the contents of each folder, shooting new videos, and then going back and see which files change. maybe then you'll know which ones are the ones you need to use.

@Adonay96 yeah, been down that road buddy. i have the GZ-HD6 and think that there is just a in/un-compatibilty issue. noticed online there wernt to many vids about that model. the fotos in the cam are first to start after usb insertion but not the vids.

when you are in 09 you should just be able to go to some import thing and it will find the camera. I have HD and 08. if there's pictures on it iphoto opens automatically I think

Not sure where to post it, but I have the everio hd300au and imovie on MAC. the only thing I had to do is select "back up" on the camera menu screen when plugged into power and usb. make sure your power is plugged in. Then it copied the video straight over to imovie.

I downloaded isquint that was for ipod's. Every time I try to convert it closes out the window I was working on and quits. Any advice? Thanks

what do you mean "for ipods?" do you mean the setting is on ipod. if it is, leave it there, thats what I have always used. Maybe some other setting is messed up. I would try deleting the whole thing and downloading it again.

try changing the resolution in the isquint slider thing. It should be set to normal by default, but yours could be off.

really you can use any video converter but i suggest you convert it to a .dv file because thats the file used by many camcorders and if u have and s series everio, its the only file that i know of that doesnt look like shit
