@dgobrien what's so wrong with them being nude? It's not done in an inappropiate or sexual manner, I see nothing wrong with it. A large amount of great art is of nude humans. Modern day society just makes us think being nude is wrong or "degrading" when in reality it's natural.

Um.. This isn't a band, it's a chinese opera of a monkey Damon and Jamie "made". Damon did music and Jamie did the costumes, makeup, and stuff like that.

the work is called "Monkey: Journey to the west". in fact is not a band, but only an album made for the olympics 2008...by the way, I think that "Monkey" could be also the name of this project of damon and jamie...^^

I read that the new gorillaz' album will come on march 2009, and that Damon is also working on a new (last) Blur's album...

It really wasn't just an album made for the 2008 Olympics, kirethedemon. It's true that the character of Monkey did an opening for the BBC broadcasts of the Olympics, but the album, the characters, etc. originate from the opera basically created by Hewlett and Albarn.
