Cries Adler is not the fasted, he is not the most technically gifted however in by opinion he is the best drummer in the world. Why? Because in brings class, finesse and grace to heavy metal drum. Some else would of blasted beated at 500bmp however chris amazes us with a clever bell pattern. Not one of his drum beats could have been done different or better thats why he is NO 1!!

thank you so much for being another person who understands what triggers are really for, and not to back up your statement triggers are pretty much a microphone sensor that picks up bass waves that are hitting the floor bass. no speed, its just a clear sound of double bass so that its not a choppy, shitty sound.

Trigggers basically make whatever drum you are "triggering" an electric drum. Most of the time if you trigger a drum you are not even going to mic it. A trigger is a sensor that picks up on the vibration from the head on each stroke and sends a signal to a module, which produces the sound. So there's no cheating there, every stroke you hear was played, it just doesn't have to be played HARD!

Bass drums I can understand, but I'd NEVER trigger my toms or snare, I absolutely hate that... The snare is one of the main ways a drummer can put feeling into his music, along with cymbals, a fake snare just won't work...
