Thank you for watching my video. This piece of work is currently in exhibition in my university and it is hanging down with the help of fishing line; and it moves like a mobile.
Good work the convination of coulors is a good idea in a sculpura of art, when various thin tubes with diferent colours have been let near one another, this creat new colours, if the sculture is in movement, many new colours are created, and this form a optical illusion of colours changeing.
The fall was not intentional. I was so worried that I might break the piece!

The colours remind me so much of Yinka Shonibare's work. I hope Sir Yinka Shonibare will check this piece out one day and give me an honest opinion/comment. I do admire most if not all of his installation arts.
By the way, you may have witnessed the slight mishap in this production. I decided to keep it intact so as to show the originality in the making of this video - that's life!
This is one of my second year Fine Art Degree pieces. Recycled newspapers are rolled out into thin tubes of various lengths which are then put together into this sculpture as shown. Due to the limited quality of the filming, I believe this video does not do justice to the colourfulness it acquires. The actual piece is noticeably unrestrained, enabling optical illusion as well as appreciation. Wish I had a better camera to make this video. I had such a joy in making it.
Yay well done amelia, it really shows the piece off well. maybe you should make a turn table to put it on for your exhibition so that people can spin it round and see its different angles and the illusion it creates, (just a round of wood and marbles) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Fabtastic. When the piece fell onto its side, I thought to myself: "Uh-oh. A screw up." Obviously it was intentional.
I realized that the piece is not only eyecatching but versatile. It may be displayed in a number of positions. Am I right about that?
In any case, I dig it, Amelia.

Thank you Jenny. This is going to be in my End of 2nd Year Show. Like you Joe suggested the round table. Maybe I can get one from the 3D workshop.
BTW, I am not high tech as you know, I am quite surprised I can make a video. Not bad for a beginner, right?

Thank you so much for your comment. It did take me a long time to roll up the paper but I really enjoy making good work.
