@khaazam not really its 200 dollars a year, you probably pay over 200 dollars on video games a year. I usually spend 500 dollars a year on ps3 games and around 100 dollars on dlc. so its not really expensive if you add it up with other stuff you spend for entertainment. Wow is very entertaining and not expensive if you pay 2 payments of 6 months.

I agree. I played a night elf druid to 70, (before WotLK), and didn't care for alliance too much. On my server, there were too many little kids on alliance. Say one thing about chuck norris or murlocs and you never hear the end of it. Horde was much more mature on my server, and was better in pvp. I mean no offense to any Alliance toons. I'm just saying what it was like on my server.

To respond to MadMuscovy, I agree, I have had experiences of 5 year olds playing wow. When you did something bad they say, "Wow u suk at yur role, i wood be bettr than you fuckin fagbag". My main before was Alliance, then I switched to Horde. I found horde to be more mature also. (This was on the realm of Bleeding Hallow, no offense to all who play Alliance and who show a little maturity)

the original World of Warcraft, and burning crusade/wrath of the lich king are expansion packs

burning crusade enables you to use dranei/blood elves, and more quests, and wrath of the lich king enables you to make a death knight, and again more quests

I recommend you getting Burning Crusade at lvl 55-58. Lich King at 68. Always go to a place 2 levels lower than it's recommended. (ex: Outland's recommended level is 60, go at lvl 58. Samething for WOTLK 70-2=68. Northrend= lvl 68)

And Made a Horde toon got it to 70 And read the Wow Books.... Took me ages! The outcome is. The Horde and the Alli enjoyed there peacful Lives, untill the Humans got greedy, waged War on the Horde, and are pertrayed as the "Good guys" I got a rogue NE (Alliance at 70 and a Troll Shaman (Horde at level 70.
