Well... he finally got a record deal with DECCA for "Ringleader of the Tormentors", but he ditched Decca US because of poor promotion in the States for the upcoming record (Years of Refusal).
All this caused a delay on its release.

I sometimes get the feeling, when comparing Morrissey's lyrics with him in interviews like on this show, that the way he acts is a bit of a put on to amuse/protect himself from too much media crap.
Listen to his lyrics on his last couple of albums; there's still a lot of romantic desire there, even if he claims he never thought it would happen and human beings shouldn't live together. I doubt he's being insincere
And fair enough really, what do they need to know about his private life

NO I am not hateing on this man in the least,but he is interesting in the fact that he has the whole aura of mystery around him,yet if you think about it,what mystery? He is vocal about everything from politics,religous beliefs,ppl he likes or dislikes,etc.The only thing is his sexual prefrance,but that I think is just him conciously thinking if he comes out and says he is gay or straight,he will alienate one of the 2 groups,& bi is too boreing of a title for a man who is as cocky as him.

I know I will get a million of thumbs down from ppl,yet I cant help but feel that this guy is beyond obnoxious.Ive watched this whole thing&he just seems really pompus.Sure keep secerts&dont let ppl in sounds good,but when you feel like the most handsome man in the room,yet you will sing about how hard it is being alone,it just drives home the fact that you're not alone because you feel you're not worthy of others,you're alone because you feel no one is worthy of you.
