I hate the attitude that this woman in this episode has. However, I can't help but relate to her. I don't trust other men but the ones that are closely related to me (specifically my dad).
Oh. I love Spock. He was jealous the baby wasn't named after him too. I wonder if he took Kirk's advice and consulted linguistics? I am sure Uhura would have had a good laugh over that.
"Euchi Woochie Coochie Coo and you're both gonna be insufferably pleased with yourselves for at least a month". Gotta love it, TV gets no better than Star Trek.
Haha Bones is Awesome! I love how Kirk was like "Well if you dont think so..." And at 35:15 Spock is BRAIDING! Idk why but I find that so cute and hot for some reason. He's like braiding...like braiding hair...like braiding my hair...but not in a gay way...in such a... manly way...: )
Well, I always thought the Romulans had pretty cool outfits- or how about the "Cloud Minders" they were pretty well attired-maybe Kirk and the Federation could broker a deal- :)
There is nothing better than the look of disgust Spock gives McCoy when he catches him checking the fetus. *sigh* You're JUST like the captain, aren't you?
Just when I thought the alien races on Trek couldn't get any sillier looking, here comes a race that wears upholstery. Those epaulets on them look like they killed and skinned an ottoman.
Poor lady! Having labor pains in front of two strangers! (McCoy doesn't count)
Why did the tier let the queen live and then commit suicide? Also, once they saw that Kirk and Spock were alive, they should have killed her or something because it proved that she had lied, and that the baby was probably still alive.
It was my idea that the Teer let her live because he was going to make a deal with the klingons and their messenger proved false and showed how he really felt about the Capellans. Thus he'd made a bad decision and wasn't worthy of being leader, as Kirk had urged him to be earlier.
This has to be one of the most funny episodes... the slap fest, Spock's facial expressions, Bone's explanation on how he got to touch the queen, and Chekov's jovial claim that the saying, "Fool me once..." was invented in Russia. Oh, and good thing the Klingon's appearance became different than this episode's Persian look. Ahmadinajad would have a cow and think it is an insult to Iranians, like the movie "300".
When the woman first walked into the tent I thought it was Barbara Eden! Of course, Star Trek and "I dream of Jeannie" were filmed around the same time! LOL!
The Klingon never actually said what the Klingon Empire offered in return for mining rights. He just pointed out everything the federation offered and made fun of them.
lol i like that they're hiding out when the woman in labor would be a dead giveaway of their position - u kno, the intense screaming that never happened in the show?
