great movie. When I go on vacation I have the same feelings as with this movie. I'm travelling with an old campervan and going into nature, just travelling and taking long walks and going places where there are hardly tourists and society... yes, into the wild. Then I return home again, and my perspective on society has become so much clearer. I do this every year, 6 or 7 weeks, and it gives so much more quality to my life. But I can live in society too.. I just dont allow it to 'consume' me

They were going through his things he had left and in a laptop was a list of things he had planned out like preparations for his adventure, all throughout his things they found quotes from this book. He only had told one girl his plan, on living as a nomad out of his car for a while possibly in Florida. He is living the dream we all dream of living. Good luck to you too
