oH, yeah, azul eléctrico, labios pintados de intenso carmesí, piel pálida y suave, cuero amarillo, gomina en el cabello, goma de mascar con sabor a cereza; vodka, besos y tus dedos fríos en mi cara.
born in 68,lived my teenage into adulthood life in the eighties and there has never been abetter time for music. this tune sums the 80's up to perfection, catchy electro pop. wonderfull!
The perfect pop song. Anyone who does not like this is an idiot. In a parallel universe this is the biggest hit song ever. Yes he was the original singer in Duran Duran. He also made a pop album with interludes by Nigel Kennedy. ANd he named an album after a roundabout.
He is A TRUE GENIUS AND WILL always be one of the greatest pop singer and writer Britain has ever produced. A billion times better than morrisey et al.
Fans of 80's electro... Depeche Mode, Erasure, Yazoo and basically any 80's New Wave MUST check out new band 'electro kill machine'. They are from Basildon, Essex...same town as Mode and Yazoo. Saw them last month in London and felt like I was transported back to the 80's!

Ooh ~ This guy was actually Duran Duran's original lead singer from the late 70s. I would've never even known that if I hadn't read into his biography.

this song and artist seems to capture the verve of New wave at the time it came out really well without the sell out. The comercial vain is absent where so many groups spent it fast. I love seeing this come back these days but you got to dig to finf it!

Difficult to believe that he left Duran Duran before they got big. They did not need him to sell a lot of records but he would have given credibility to the band by writing a few decent songs. Duran Duran were big because they were a bunch of pretty boys but their music is one of the worst of the eighties.
Fuck Me... this takes me back! Never mind the 1980's ... I remember King Solomon (Master of all Demons, and a real drunk, the hypocritical Shitty Bastard) writing these lyrics 3500 years ago.

"Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine."
Stephen is the king of the pop song! If not for the 1980s, but now as pop songs do not change. Lady Gaga is great, but she is Madonna with less clothing! Which makes no difference!

@julieann1978 (cont.) I remember catching the end of this song in the car. Then GONE! URrrrgh! That was probably summer of 1989 or 1990. I was 13, and cursed with the knowledge of this song. RAKKING MY BRAIN! LOL!!! Oh I too love the INTERNET! LOVE IT! :D
I think we both have/had the same EXACT PROBLEM for the past 2 and a half decades. I first heard this song on a roadtrip with my mother on the way to see my G-Ma in Corpus Christi, TX. If you have ever done that trip from San Antonio, back in the late 80's-1990. You would know that the radio signals (especially for stations that played Alternative/ New Age) flat-out got NO LOVE along that trip.
I'm down. I lived in southwestern ontario , canada during this time, I was a teenage virgin, and I had just heard about 'French' kissing when this song came out.

I would certainly like it. This has been one of my favorite songs since I first heard it when I was at Numbers in Houston some twenty years ago.

I have something for you. An obscure band called the RipChords. I have posted some of their music from 1983-1985 when Tin Tin was playing at all the University stations.
