Ok just to straighten things up. Lions are not 100% muscle. Lions are not longer than tigers, Lions are a bit taller tho. and the average tiger is 50kgs heavier than the lion not 40pounds.. and its a known fact that pound for pound a tiger is the stronger cat!

I just watched anotehr video from Nat Geo and it said the exact opposite that male Lions live to fight and Tigers are more stealthy and hide so they will submit to Lion in a fight..Also lions are a feet taller and also longer but Tigers are heavier by 40pounds...So they said the Lion is king because he will fight anything, he will Face anything you throw at him, Tigers tend to run. So the Lion is still the King coz he is noble.

u got both mixed up any big cat expert will tell u that a tiger is a better hunter having more power in the hind legs making him quicker and superior leaping power. while the lion has more powerful forquarters wich can break a zebras back with one blow and the lion is nearly 100% pure muscle, the tiger specialy the siberian being larger has 50% body fat due to its extreme cold habitat, the bengal with about 20%.

Barbary lions are nothing, too cumbersome, they weighed up to 300KG but were no match for Caspian tigers which were similar sized to the barbary, you ain't got a clue! A bengal, siberian or the extinct Caspian tiger would all have taken Barbary lions.
