  • What's the name of the song at 3:53 ?

  • Funny tidbit I found out, South Korea, while not having a large active army, has a reserve of 8 million. Any attempt at invasion from the north will be equally swamped.

  • stupid brutal leader.

  • I have discovered a new job placement for Baghdad Bob.

  • as i compare visitors tour in nokor... one thing i noticed... they were all scripted.

  • @3:50 The picture on the right actually looks like a rocket lauching ramp. We've learned a lot from our ancestors.

  • I'm surprised the DPRK government didn't commission (or force) people to drive around aimlessly in state sponsored cars for the sake of the foreigners. "Oh look! we have traffic because our country is thriving with technological commerce!".

Seems like the kind of country that will do that.

  • @lmali1985 But.. they did... Didn't you see the three Skodas and one Volga in every street scene?

  • Arm wrestling LOL

  • Show more respect to his Godhead, the great leader, you damned imperialist *lol* (sarcasm off)

  • i dont know what juche means but it sounds like duche bag

  • @bunnybee97 juche means "up yours"

  • LOL at 7:06. That's about as close as pulling a tiger's tail as you can get. Whistling the marching tune out of Bridge over the River Kwai in North Korea.

  • @AmersfoortTristan Hehehe...

  • @AmersfoortTristan You just got to love their humor during the entire trip...

  • LOL at 7:06. That's about as close as pulling a tiger's tail as you can get. Whistling the marching tune out of Bridge over the River Kwai in North Korea.

  • No offence. You remind me of a cock, I mean the bird.

  • Those roads looks so fine but where are the joggers ?

  • Notice how when they're indoors, there's almost no electric lights. Can't they dam up a river or something? Wait...you have to have money and resources to do that. Sorry...

  • I mean month

  • I cant believe i spent a week in south korea and didnt visit the DMZ D:

  • fuck you American. fuck your culture and ....

  • @vilhelminaali You posted that comment on an American website, on the American internet, probably using an American-brand computer, while wearing jeans, a baseball cap, and saving money for a Ford... Yeah. Fuck the American culture...

  • @monkeetime I am posting mine on an American website, on the American internet, using a German computer (Medion is German) while wearing jeans, a shirt that says "Made in China" and I am quite happy with the Dutch Railways with it's French-made trains. ;)

  • @vilhelminaali what a tool hahahahahahahaha

  • @vilhelminaali and... What? Awww yeah, go fuck yourself!!!

  • @vilhelminaali dude your an idiot...

  • Very interesting videos, thanks. But I think your attitude towards the ordinary citizens is a bit... disrespectful. No matter how messed up their country is, it's still their own country. Let them believe whatever they believe is right. It's still part of their culture, messed up or not. Their attitudes towards visitors surely won't get better if we treat them all like fools. They're still just ordinary people... living under the rule of a few insane people. As you know.

  • @karri2 Look at it this way: In 1930's, a mid-size European nation was messed up, they had weird beliefs, and some of their people were oppressed by the majority because of these beliefs. Was it bad to criticize them? Make fun of them? When a whole nation embarks on a homicidal/suicidal mission, letting them do what they want to do is not the best idea... There is nothing respectable about the North Korean state religion... Or any religion.

  • For a regime as xenophobic and nationalistic as the North Korean government, it sure does pull out all the stops and spends a buttload on making tourists comfortable. Hypocrisy much?

  • Love your videos, monkeetime. You're a YouTube treasure. Where's your accent from, though? No way you were born n' raised in Canada (right?).

  • You fucking western 1st world assholes no thing

  • I really like the style of your commentary monkeetime and I'm enjoying your documentary so far. My only nit-pick is your video intros' are annoyingly long in comparison to the length of each segment. Good stuff though.

  • this country is 100% "go green" im sure..

  • To all of you, who show hostility toward DPRK, around here: you are all blind because you have been obfuscated by the lightening of capitalism propaganda, and I am not surprised with it, whatsoever.

—If you are honest with yourselves, and want to know why I said what I have said above, and why I am laughing at your comments, just go to North Korea (Part 12), and read...

You all have a lot to do to catch-up, and get the power of knowledge!

Don´t worry too much; there are many millions like you!

  • @jsnovais1000 Would you move to the DPRK?

  • @monkeetime Yes, I would!

  • @monkeetime I think I would rather move to someplace in China or southeast Asia than here.

  • @monkeetime One American who has every opportunity of living outside of North Korea currently lives in North Korea as a legal resident and has been interviewed, saying he would rather live in North Korea than anywhere else.

  • @666NedFlanders Yeah, he is mental.

  • @666NedFlanders on american! only 249 million to go...see the odds?

  • @666NedFlanders good old comrade joe :D

  • @monkeetime i would ! !!

  • LOL, I'm amazed you didn't get a foot in the behind for mocking the negotiations... ;-)

  • Bad.. Bold.. Brazen. Well done guys.

  • I feel bad for people who are so shy :(

  • Uncle Kim wants YOU... TO KEEP FILTHY IMPERIALIST AMERICAN HANDS OFF NOT-BOOBS!!!

  • You know I've often wondered about the people assigned to work with foreigners in North Korea. On one hand they get to have access to better amenities, better food, and occasionally entertainment. On the other it's only really when the tourists are around though. It's like being perpetually teased with something they can never really have. Deep down they know it, they know those tourists are going to go back home to better lives while they are still stuck there waiting for the next group.

  • you guys are brave

  • Also, EPA should learn a thing or two from Kim Jong-Il's love for the environment

  • I'm a South Korean. My dream is the reunification of the two Koreas so I can pee on those Kim Il Sung statues at my own discretion.

Thank you for making these videos :) really fun to watch.

    Keep up the good work!

  • @jhkshot To be honest, after the North frees itself of this insanity, I hope they leave the statues intact precisely for that reason.

  • @monkeetime i could see there being booths with signs reading "dent the statue of the great leader with a sledge hammer, 5 dollars for 3 swings"

  • @cbradley1391 Perhaps next year...

  • @monkeetime I would consider them important historic land marks. Such recently found nazi land marks in Germany who has very serious laws against endorsing the past Nazi party, the findings are preserved anyways. Why... Because people should learn from history, not destroy it because they don't like it.

  • @666NedFlanders I hate it when people take down statues... KEEP THE STATUES, BE REMINDED!

  • @jhkshot I hope that reunification will come so you can do just that. And take a piss on those statues for me as well.. as well as for the rest of the world.

  • Wow, monkeetime your video's are reall awesome. Going through all this trouble to bring us these video's is really commendable of you. I wish your video's got more views instead of rambling, babbling idiots that fill youtube.

  • @bogueji1 Thank you! Tell your friends, post on facebook, spread the word. Cheers!

  • Thanks for uploading your trip! Can I suck your dick?

  • @Darkdrium Yes, of course. Fan mail address provided on youtube profile.

  • HOW COME THE BUS IS RIGHT HAND DRIVE AT 1:27?

    SORRY FOR TYPING IN CAPITALS

  • @chowbbkit Because it is a Japanese bus that was imported to NK (because NK is so shitty they cant even make their own bus, despite blabling all over the world about how they will drown the US in a sea of nuclear fire.)

  • @monkeetime

BUT SOMETHING STRANGE IS THAT U KNOW THERE ARE JAPANESE MADE VEHICLES IN CHINA AND THE US AS WELL, BUT THEY R ALL MADE INTO LEFT HAND DRIVE :P BUT THIS IS PROBABBLY COZ THE NKS THEMSELVES DON'T EVEN CARE WHAT VEHICLES THEY GET.. AS LONG AS THEY CAN STILL OPERATE LOL :P AGAIN,, SORRY FOR TYPING IN CAPITALS

  • 0:33 what is the song called?

  • @AerovideoProductions No idea... Ripped from a random North Korean karaoke DVD...

  • That flag part was hilarious. Wow, desperate much?

  • "They are dressed not so good so that's why they are very shy. Because of the shame"

    ROTFLMAO!!!! Too much!
