  • nice water simulation

only one weakness i spoted that is the shadow of the birds at 0:53 are so unrealistic (look at the size n color depth of it) anyway.. great work mate ;) keep it up ^^

  • So, each molecure of water is being calculated in every frame, lighting and all.

Wow, haven't seen a change in technology since 2006...

  • Hace you got a paper describing how you did it?

  • the ocean water doesnt move that much.

but i couldnt do any better then this so i cant really say anything =]

  • great job! btu the waves seem a bit too big...

  • The main problem with this simulation is that the water looks too solid. Getting rid of that muddy, gelatinous look that often accompanies computer simulated water is VERY difficult. I think the behavior of the waves is impressive, but its overall appearance is too thick.

  • how you displace surfase? And what shader model use? awensome specular (so real)

  • man, how do you make that..like...what are you using?? a program or a mac or something??

  • Well, it _does_ look good, but in a game you have to deal with more issues than "just" water. You know what I mean? Sound, AI, interactivity/physics, network and many more!

  • that water is beautiful!

    very well done

  • coool, gj man

  • Yeah. University class. Right.

Everyone knows you're using magic. Admit it.

  • wow look at that f$%king water...

  • Oh. My. God.

Good work man. Crysis has nothing on you.

  • Well, crysis failed at all of those except sound, so he's safe. :P

  • Awesome water with many wave lengths. How was it done?

  • is there a way i can download this

    it looks amazing

  • is this DirectX?

    looks awsome

  • that is the most realistic water ever awesome!

lol could mistake it for you actually video taping it yourself. brilliant

  • You will need some depth of field effect and improve your colour scheme. But nice for real-time rendering. ;)

  • Incredible.

  • This has the be the most realistic water I've seen ever (In realtime) Keep up the good work
