  • 90s. definitely my favourite decade. by a mile.

  • FUCKING EPIC, gotta get me sen a blonde tele!

  • Dammit... I didn´t see those "Fuck off!" coming from him. He always seems so relaxed on interviews and stuff like that...

But I understand him... He never got the chance to really meet his dad (in fact, his father abandoned him) and he was trying to separate himself from him.

So yeah, FUCK OFF! :D Go Jeff!

  • definitely added to my collection of dream guitars just coz of him! love teles!!!

  • what a thrill!!!! just now, not in the past. Past is carried away

  • ESta cancion es demasiado en serio!! desde q la escuche fue mi favoritaaa q voz de buckley!!leyenda! porq moristeeeeeee

  • I love it when he told those people to FUCK OFF!!! YEAH!!

puta cara q partiu mto cedo

    i love this song

  • rock \o/ >>> Brasil

  • I was at this show and shared a cig with him after. So talented...sex on a stick.

  • skinnier, whiter, blacker, gracer

    lol

  • feel the passion

  • I just bought Grace a few months ago and it is quite possibly the most beautiful album I ever heard just full of the most tender beautiful sounds I have ever heard. EVER!

  • Who'd he say fuck off to?

  • Someone in the audience who said "Tim Buckley:

  • guess he didn't like his dad very much..

  • That's not it at all, but he was trying to seperate himself from his father, which was very hard

  • Oh.. but I thought he didn't like him cause he wasn't responsible and left his mom with him

like it says in Dream Brother

  • um i think he tim once at a show jeff went back stage to meet his dad and they got on like a house on fire but his mam didnt want him around his father

    i could be wrong tho

  • He only met him once when he was 8

    thank you Wikipedia

  • Yeah something like that.. but he never was around and I THINK that annoyed him because if you listen to the lyrics of Dream Brother supposedly it's about his friend becoming a dad or something and Jeff is warning him not to become like his own dad.

  • I read the same thing

  • how beatiful he is at 2:50... madonna mia...

  • SPLENDIDO!

  • it's talked about in the star tours video i posted....he took shots of tequlia before this show...

  • fiato ed estensione vocale inarrivabili!

    Best SINGER ever!!

  • Comment removed

  • I'd love to read it :)

  • Astonishing.

His voice is so powerful and moving. He's incredible.

    12 years.

    RIP Jeff Buckley

  • agreed ;(

  • Mitico........legenda

  • amazing...

  • Cristo che voce!

  • 2:51 - I always smile with him. Such a peaceful and authentic moment!

  • You should pay more attention to what he says. He says: It's all about now!

The beauty of music is that it's immortal. He's not here anymore, but his songs are and we shouldn't cry all the time for that because it's in the past.

Don't take me wrong, please. It' not as if I said: Ok, he's dead. So what? - That's not what I mean. But try to stop weeping and fully enjoy his sound. That's all we can do. =)

    Take care, guys!

  • and also, as he said, it's all about NOW... and that means NOW (not 1997 or any time earlier graced with his presence...). right now. (also meant well...)

  • Too bad I was only like only like two when this happened :(

    Jeff is amazing!

  • Yeah, I was 1, nearly 2 when this was done...

He died on my birthday D:

  • I was almost 6, but still not nearly old enough to fully appreciate this amazing music. It's a shame, I would have loved to have been older in the 90's.

  • lol! ouch...

happy birthday! one of the greatest singers of rock history just died...sucksssss.

  • this is huge live! so impressed

  • WHAT an introduction for one of the greatest songs!!!!

Maybe he knew how awesome he was?... I don`t know...

Twang cheers to everybody from Germany!

    Ralf Kilauea

  • "It's all about now"

    Never a truer word spoken.

  • The Only one!!!!

  • Dont mean to take the attention of Jeff but that is a nice sounding snare.

  • that is the sweetest comment... that anyone can hear anything beyond this mans voice and passion astounds me. i mean that with good natured wry humor...

  • best singer ever

  • mmm...maybe high. musicians smoke pot...they don't bother with alcohol.

  • Jim Morrison would've disagreed... but perhaps you're right, maybe Jeff was high. Either way, he doesn't seem totally... coherent. Haha he still sounds terrific, though.

  • What an amazing song, its such a wall of sound

  • 3.56 fucking hell

  • was that in one breath?

  • hes so amazing isnt he

  • this song brings out all the angst inside me..

he's such a great live performer..

  • Mattòòòòòòòòòòòòò che cazzo eri Jeff, solo tu potevi cantà sta canzone...brividi alti cosììì :°-)

  • fuck off !! jajaaaaa.. genio!!!

  • no vabbuò.

  • best grace vid ever!!!

the passion brought tears in my eyes.. again..

  • Freaking hell yeah! incredible vid--- ten yrs have passed since i first heard this epic song and my appreciation has only increased exponentially. Love Jeff!

  • he's just messing around, that's why he says "fuck off" in the beggining.. ^^

the point is to stop comparing everything to the past: his music is NOW and not back in the 70s..

  • Danicxz,

He actually say that because someone says to play some Tim Buckley songs. :)

  • the greatest premature death in the music industry.

the few songs he left us with are surely a testament to my statement.

  • cambiale de nombre , por q te lo van a borrar :S por los derechos de BMG , ponele , Gr4c3 J3ff , o algo asi :s espero q no te lo borren , este es el mejor tema y mejor version de todas de jeff

  • One of the greatest raw talents ever

  • That bassist was way too fucking loud, he's louder than Jeff's guitar at the solo.

Amazing in every way other wise

  • yeah weird loud bass. but i've got the vhs and you can hardly hear the bass at times. maybe its the dvd

  • why does he say that at the start? it's funny though lol

  • someone shouted ''TIM BUCKLEY!'' in the crowd

  • hahahah you right xD es true

  • god i hate that snare but i fucking love buckerz :D

  • shut up , he was god 5:58 - 6:11

  • For those who asked and are wondering, this is from his Live in Chicago dvd. BUY IT. it's fucking amazing. it also contains the Grace EPK which is a masterpiece in itself.

  • THANK YOU! didn't know it was available... will be so much more than happy to find it!

  • at six minutes.. lol.. dope like opiates.

  • genio!!!!!!!!! increible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pure fu**ing genius- gutted he disappeared just when it was being realised, he could have done so much more...no one has come close to this since

  • no one

  • matt bellamy does a great job ;)

  • holy fuck this guy's voice is unreal. i've listened to his album for a long time but this is the first time i've watched him live. i'm in disbelief right now.

  • is this performance off a DVD cuz if it is I'd love to get it. What DVD is it??

  • The best......

  • amazing.

  • U can reli also tell the influence myles kennedy from alterbridge has from jeff buckley

  • Jeff!

WHY AREN'T YOU STILL HERE ROCKING MY WORLD?!?!

Would give a toe to go see him live...

  • he's totally rocking my world still...from this world or the next... pure fire, pure genius, never dies...

  • One of Jeffs most famous quotes right there at the start of the video. Simply amazing artist and one of the most talented musicians in recent memory.

  • I had to put the beginning of this on one of my videos, I just loved his intensity! Every time I hear him preform this song, I realize just how mediocre I am.

  • late sixties, early 70s. all the rest bull**** big lol jeff!

  • Why doesn't this have 10 million views. Like seriously, incredible voice. What a fuckin genius.

I know people will get pissed at me for saying this, but I can see why people compare Matt Bellamy of Muse's voice to his. It's def. the high stuff that is similar.

  • yeah i dont like comparisons to Buckley but the reason they compare it is because Bellamy has the same vocal range as Jeff. i think it's called falsetto...

  • Yeah, definitely. They both have similar, incredible power, range, and emotion in their voices, I guess it's only natural that they get compared.

  • no theyre both tenors thats about it,jeff buckley is a far superior vocalist to matt

  • Same range, power, falsetto, probably most notable though, same vibrato. Both are extreme tenors really, well over A above middle C.

Ah, I love that lazy uncoordinated grab for his volume on his guitar at the end. Definitly under the influence. Ha.

  • An extreme tenor is Anthony greene. This could be bari-tenor. Jeffs got great falsetto but his basic voice/tessitura is way too normal to be called extreme.

  • Wow

  • i agree with Jeff, 70's was extra bullshit...i think the 90's are the best...and so is Jeff Buckley

(and lukeashmoore i agree, i think Smiths are an exception :D)

    RIP BUCKLEY

  • the beste is 70's

    pink floyd, led zeppelin, queen,

    deep purple , etc

  • ahh yeah i actually do agree with u here, i do like LedZep and Queen :D

  • pink floyd the best

  • Also GENESIS (with Peter Gabriel), Jeff was a big fan, he covered BACK IN NYC FROM THEIR 1974 album The Lamb lies Down on Broadway....and what about YES, KING CRIMSON.......RUSH....The 70's an 90's r the best...

  • he was dead on about the smiths.

  • Amazing.

Surprised this hasn't had more views though.

  • This crackles my laptop speakers.

  • is that a good thing or bad? :S

  • Best avaible version, maybe

  • My favorite jeff buckley song!! Haunting!
