Over here in France, elderly people are given a lot of kindness. I am very happy to see this. Especially old men are given a place to sit on the bus. I continue to be surprised, people seem to notice I am disabled, I do not fuss, but I cling to the railings and even young kids offer their seats to me. @DEMCAD The unequal trade tariffs and housing crisis are both symptoms of the same thing. American politicians no longer are concerned with the middle class in this country. The last 20 years here have seen a massive transfer of wealth to the ultra-rich. They have not seen the actual creation of new wealth for the most part. Shell games transfer money around but do not create anything. This makes me concerned for the future of this country.

They raise money from corporations which mainly serve FOREIGNERS. I.e., foreigners are buying US elections! Americans aren't really represented anymore!

@Demcad I go to a restaurant every morning for coffee. It is owned and run by various Greeks; some from the Old World; others are second-generation. Manners and protocol are observed. Most of the clientele are Baby Boomers or older. Most have money. It is nice to get coffee there. Down the street, you can find all the lowlifes and hoodrats you want, with middle fingers held high, with vandalism & the occasional murder.

Over here in France, elderly people are given a lot of kindness. I am very happy to see this. Especially old men are given a place to sit on the bus. I continue to be surprised, people seem to notice I am disabled, I do not fuss, but I cling to the railings and even young kids offer their seats to me. When I feel okay to make the journey that day, I thank them and urge them to sit but to be alert if I might need the seat in awhile. It works. It is far from perfect but people are polite.

improve the roads lol they don't know the meaning of repair or improve anymore. In MI. m-59 has been repaired 3 times at i-75 and m-59 and each time they do a crasp job of it. Putt another layer of black top over the old it make it go away. wrong 1 year later it back. yet this cost about 75% as much as if they just fix it vs a patch. then we should build our road like the EU allot deeper and thinker in the first place so they last 20 too 50 years. The condition of the roads in the state of Michigan is the result of a union money grab. Every spring road crews are patching and putting "band-aids" on roads that need to be unearthed and relaid altogether. The resources to truly improve the roads are readily available--it just doesn't benefit unions to do it. Canada is adjacent to southeastern Michigan and Canada's roads are, and always have been, in FAR better condition.

Good luck getting to the Phils. Not sure what you can do to get a visa, but if you're making money online then that will help you. I spoke to a few Filipino freelancers that I worked with a while back, and they said that I could get by living there off of the price of the project if I did one project a month. I could probably live extremely frugally, but I still think that it would take more money.

Yeah I would move there if I could get a visa, but just going back and forth on a tourist visa is expensive and a huge hassle. I mean just the plane ticket alone is like 900 bucks.
I wish there was a loophole with the tourist visa but from what little reading I did it seems like you can't stay too long or do too many trips cause then you are suspected as a resident and they could ban you for life or a long time.

@espada9 That would happen, if the US pulled out of the ungodly United Nations. The Rockerfeller family donated the land to the UN back when it was founded. We need to get out of the UN and sooner the better.

Energy Dept in CO were being bought off with cocaine. I think local news did story for about 15 seconds and never told us what happened to all people busted. Probably still doing lines in the back room.
The UN is downright evil. They'll be the ones coming in america if civil disobedience occurs...or I should say when!
