the 27 inch is close and it's coming out in June 2560x1440 but yea I wish they came in 30 inch size with the res of 2560x1600 that will be awesome

Apple really can make displays. I even thought of buying two, one for my Mac, and one for my PC (with an a adapter).

The best display co's in my opinion are:

1. Apple

2. HP

3. Westinghouse

I have Westinghouse, but these look nice!

@Insomniariz No it dosn't. If you do know, an Inverter Board is for lighting a LCD screen like a backlight. His macbook's backlighting seems just fine.

It's not overpriced because of the current new technology and the features. LED backlit screen, clear and good microphone, pretty good speakers, great camera that's pretty clear with video chat, large glass screen, aluminum frame. Works flawlessly with the macbook pro. If you buy another brand with all this, it'll be nearly the same price.

waw. it's so beautiful! but isn't it over priced? I am thinking about buying an HP monitor or the LED cinema display. HP's monitor is around 500 USD. does the 400 dollars difference between the LED cinema display and the HP monitor are really worth it? thank you for answering.

LCD was STRAINING my eyes. This LED cinema display doesn't strain my eyes at all like the macbook pro! Plus it dims automatically in certain light conditions. Get a refurbished one for $599 and get applecare on ebay then you get 3 years of worry-free coverage. Unless you want a BRAND NEW one then go for it...$899. This monitor is beautiful and simplicity is also beautiful. You will NOT be disappointed. I read PDF readings daily because I'm a graduate FNP student.
