  • fabulous :)

  • pi ta go ra stiw chi xd

  • nice

  • what are they saying. It is in every rube goldberg machine or something like this.

  • A blend of two words: Pythagoras (famous mathematician, or something) and Switch, Japanese words can't end with a "ch" so he says "chi" instead.

So they're saying PythagoraSwitch, which the Japanese pronounce: "Pitagorasuichi."

  • Thank you a lot! I was always wondering what they were saying.

  • Pythagoras Switch is the name of a Children's show that had these devices in them, usually marble rolls too, and always ended up with a flag popping up with the name of the show on it.

  • Yep, also, "pita" and "gora/cora" both are sounds that are associated with balls dropping and rolling, which acts as extra onomatopoeia for the word "pitagora suichi"

Shortening words (like pythogoras to pythagora) and using onomatopoeia is very common in japanese, especially when using english or words from other languages.

  • @shiveryshiva lesson for idiot americans who don't know about anything beyond their piece of land...

  • If you've ever heard of a rube goldberg machine... well... that's pretty much it. Just fun little machines made of household objects =D I kind of want to make one.

  • im part spanish, japanese and spanish that is kinda saying Pythagoras Switch

  • most retarded part that says sudakuda suichi....

  • what do they say at the beginning??? and what does it mean???

  • Pitagora Suicchi, which is Pythagora's Switch.

I'm not sure if it means anything, to be honest. Apparently, it's a japanese kids' show, basically doing what this video does.

  • oooo it's the name of the really creator of this but not of the kid or parents..it's famous

  • Jak ja miałem siedem lat, to robiłem sto razy lepsze i sto razy dłuższe takie trasy dla kulki.

  • thats the most useless comment ever.

  • cool

  • This one isn't as good as the 2006 Winter one, but still cool as hell. Btw, what do they say at the beginning of each video? Pythagoras Switch?

  • Yea except that they spoke it in japanese.

  • where can i buy this shit?

i wanna make contraptions like that

  • Just look around your house and find some stuff.

  • That was very good.

  • the girl is aboy know

  • ...... erm twat?

  • dont be racist stupid motherfucker

  • It creeps me out that they always sing that freakin song at the beginning

  • It's from a show. It does those marble tricks during it.

Like the Japenese verion of seseme street.

    Pitagora suichi means Pythagoras Switch

  • nice useing downward momentum to make it go up

  • wow hes gotten older! You can actually see the difference! Look at 2004/6/16 for example!

  • omg @ the stupid fucking people who ask. what do they say?

    DOESN'T THE TITLE TELL YOU?

  • I wish I was introduced to this stuff as a kid.

It's so awesome. This kid should be paid for this stuff. ... ...so cool.

  • "Pythagoras Switch" is two things;

    1) What Japanese people call Rube Goldberg devices - like this one, that I'm guessing the kid's put together to enter a competition on...

    2) A kids TV show in Japan, a bit like Sesame Street, which is where all these videos come from.

Pita-gora Su-wee-chee = Pythagoras Switch, in the same way that the word "animation" got turned into "anime". HTH.

  • Yeah,i watch Pythagoras Switch before on my TV

  • Chingity ching!

    PS Cho Ching

  • they're saying pythagoras switch

  • How do you know?

  • someone please tell me what them kids are saying!!! what the fuck does it mean

  • xino qliao feo hahahha

  • Not that, Pythagoras Switch.

  • It's a cool thing, but why is it called "Pythagoras switch"?

  • Because of a Japanese show called Pythagoras switch in which they make Rube Goldberg Devices.

  • AMAZING!

  • What do you guys say in the beginning of the video. What does it mean?

  • pitagora suichi=pythagoras switch

  • I liked the complexity of the lever and ramp machine at the beginning, reminds me of the TV show.

  • lol mariocart table!

  • why the weird kids are saying " pytha-goras- switch?? its WEIRD ! rolfmao

  • It's like they do on the popular Japanese children's television show.

  • Theres some show or something in japan and they do that for every one of the switches.

  • It's japanese for Rube Goldberg Machine.

  • best homemade version so far.

  • nice!

  • what does the thing he says at the beginning mean?

  • Py-Tha-Go-Ras- Swit-Ch

  • No.

    It is Py-Ta-Go-Ras Suic-chi.

    Which means Simple machine.

  • actually yes Pythagoras Switch(translated) which does also mean what you say

  • THat isn't too simple though...

  • Pretty good. Now if it can power my car or buy me bread, I'll give you a dollar for it.

  • how come whenever at begining ov vid they always say it in segmates padoi-cara-doi-chi like that idk

  • wow that was good!

  • YATTA!!!

  • YYYEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!! That was great!

  • The boy must be 7 now. By the way, why does it say "END" instead of おわり (Owari)?

  • Well maybe they dun Like saying おわり at the end o-o

  • THATS A GOOD KID,LEARNING ENGLISH

  • Or perhaps "ピタゴラスイッチ"

  • Great as always!
