Just a tip, but if you bring the straightener outwards from your face, your gonn get a much nicer cleaner look.

do certan types of flat irons work better than others? like i have a remington teflon fiber one and it was really cheap, and when i curl it it takes a few trys to get it. so do you think i should just go out and spend my money on an expensive, good one? like would it be more worth it?

Yes. it does its work better than my curling iron. OMG I burned my hand using my stupid curling iron & Id rather use my flat iron to curl my hair. Curl last longer! You can check out beautychoice website. they have lots of flat irons!

i know they are but my mom bought me this one :) I'm not sure what brands are cheaper but you need a flat iron that is good & will do less damage to your hair :) I had this for 2 yrs now :)

the wider the iron, the bigger curls you'll get :) if u use the 2nd technique.. the 1st technique it doesnt matter how wide the straightening iron is :)

oh wow, i'm gonna try doing the first technique coz i've had my straightening iron with me for the longest time and i know i could curl my hair using it but i've always had a hard time doing it just coz i also have some long and short strands because of my layered hair... :) thanks this was really helpful!
