i actually think gears of war looked shit (black,grey,muzzle flash),call of duty was alright but still very generic,and fallout 3 looked horrible in my opinion (bad textures), besides games with an artistic unique style of graphics are mostly the funnest eg team fortress 2, this game still looks freaking awesome yet still has a humourous side to it, the graphics of both borderlands and TF2 just really help convey the message that a game is supposed to be fun not a exact simulation of rl

A game is not just about graphics you know... I loved Fallout3 because of the dynamic of the game... there's so many games out there that are focusing on graphics, but still their gamplay sucks!

There's nothing wrong with cell shaded, it's all about the gameplay not the graphics. Graphics is not what made Fallout 3 so fun.

The purpose for choosing cel shaded graphics was to stand out from the mass crowd of FPS games coming out this year, since they're slap bang in the middle of two massive releases; Operation Flashpoint 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

Also I believe Halo is just before Borderlands but I don't follow xbox games...

it's less then a minute long and doesn't get started till 35 seconds in.

The game looks great, shaded cell animation. But ........ in the industry deception is common place. I'm not breaking a $100 bill just so I can go back to GameShit a few days later and get 13 measly fuckin dollars of credit for it.

I'm waiting, let someone else buy it, play it, then listen to what they have to say about it. As long as they're not 12 - 15 years old it should be a reasonable analysis.

I don't think the graphics are bad at all. The devs probably wanted to make their game look unique and make sure the comparisons to other games like fallout 3 are kept to a minimum.

Personally, I like it. It's stylish rather than just realistic.
